To add I've seen so many talented young players at Arsenal fail in part due to a lack of professionalism and "already made it syndrome". Hate seeing it happen regardless of club

The sort of poor professionalism that Greenwood is showing rarely goes away by itself and very often leads to unfulfilled careers nowadays. If by taking a hard line, hopefully driving home that he needs to cut out the nonsense then the club can really help his career.

The rest of it appears to be tabloid nonsense. Ole has completely rubbished the stories about his bad attitude and time keeping. And as has been mentioned earlier in the thread, his mate has just committed suicide. It might even be that he hasn't actually been ill and Ole has just given him some time off.

That could very well be the case. Losing a good mate at such a young age would be heart breaking for anybody. Just because he's a footballer, doesn't mean he doesn't experience human emotions
