Sunday's game is all on for Chelsea to bottle. At Stamford Bridge there should be no excuses for Chelsea if they don't take the three points. Two days extra rest and preparation also.

Why does being at Stamford bridge make any difference atm? Most away wins of all time so far isn’t it in the league? Also I expect us to play our first team in the champions David, I doubt you will in Europa. Plus as some spurs fans are saying how good spurs are I can’t see past a spurs win

You know what this site is like Nick

If we lose on the weekend there will be loads of ‘Spurs thought they were gonna win the league’ articles, when only one of us thinks we will
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lol I’ve seen a couple mate, and know a couple outside of this site but most are level headed. Seems
Jose is instilling that confidence to be fair to him and the club. Progressing

Tbf, there is nothing wrong in any Spurs fan thinking that. It could happen. It's just the plethora of utter nonsense rhetoric and narrative that is repeatedly posted by the few, usual suspect idiot Spurs fans that attracts ridicule from rival fans.

I mean of course it COULD happen. But as a Spurs fan, in recent years, I’ve come to get used to the club getting close to winning something and then falling at the final or penultimate hurdle.

I suspect a lot of Spurs fans feel like this; we’ve tempered our expectations and learnt to get used to disappointment

Pressure is relatively off right now it’s when it counts spurs fold like gymnastic hookers on 2 bob tuesday

Theyre going to be head in hands when Pulisic, Werner and Havertz rip them to shreds. They'll hide inside of the castle walls of their match thread and fight with each other.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Having watched Werner this season, he looks like another Vinny Janssen. Never seen s striker miss so many sitters.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Werner has something like 7 goals and 3 assists in his last 8 games. Did Jansson do that in his whole time at spurs?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He scored six in his Spurs career, four of which were pens.

If Jose doesn’t win top honours after being seriously backed in the summer, it would be a disappointment.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

He has been backed no more than Poch, just spent his money more wisely.

That's because you didn't bother watching Spurs before 2015.

So you expect a Chelsea win as well? Me too
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nah, confident of a Spurs win, they are simply a better side. Chelsea haven't beaten any half decent side they have faced this season.

Yes and you say Poch was a failure.

I expect to win the league with serial winner Jose in charge after he got all the players he wanted.

Anything less and it’s a failure.

Jose would have five years to win the league to level up with Poch's five years of winning nothing to be fair.

To be fair, this time in five years he will be having his meltdown at another club, having had his Spurs meltdown a couple of years earlier.

And I seriously doubt Jose has any intention of staying 3 years let alone 5.

He’s here to win us the league cup and to tell us all how happy we should be then leave.

Don’t mind him proving me wrong though.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
anything is possible but this liverpool team is the real deal. i think it will be closer than last year but thats it.

Given Lampard's big game pragmatism this season and Jose's historic big game pragmatism I don't think it's a stretch to see this ending 0-0.

Both will be terrified of losing, if Jose loses his record against Lampard will start to look like Wenger's against him and Lampard won't want to be 4 points behind given Jose is usually very good when he has a lead to defend at the top.
