He is starting to get recognition, which is nice.
Consistency is key. If Jorginho's Sarri's son then Mount is rightfully Lampard's son
Yeah it's dumb. Quality player who's only gunna get better.
Thought Mount was exceptional tonight. The amount of work he put in also pressing all over the place was a real asset to the team. I am not related to him in the slightest but I have no problem with him being in our starting 11 with performances like that.
Seems strange that he ever had negative criticism from opposition fans let alone our own. For his age the things he’s achieved are incredible. A midfield dynamo with a bit of end product. Played in multiple positions for us and doesn’t look out of place alonside high profile internationals. The assist for Hudson odoi summed him up, won the ball back and normally he’d pass that off to whoever gets the assist so it’s not noticed, this time it opened up for him to play the pass instead.
It's been alleged that he's Lampards favourite - well of course he is, that's what happens when you're very good at your job in any walk of life.
A fantastic player, especially given his tender years and long may he be the managers 'Favourite'!
He's a class act not just on the pitch but of it, like Frank and without any prompt donated money to a charity for Reg Harrison, who was the last surviving member of the 1946 FA cup Derby winning team who recently passed.
Both Frank and Mason will always be cherished for the brillant season along with Tomori who won player of the year and will always be fondly remembered by Rams fans.
He's been brilliant since he's moved into that deeper midfield position. Outshining Havertz.

Havertz has only played that role oncelol
Mount told his Dad to do one when his old man said he should leave Chelsea to further his career. That commitment to Chelsea is on show every minute he is on the pitch.
I will be very surprised if he isn't a Chelsea legend by the time he hangs up his boots.
One of the first names on the team sheet for me, apart from the need to rest him from time to time.

Nice to hear that Igor
Impossible to knock any of the academy graduates that are currently in the first team, they are extremely good and competitive in their own right with strong mentalities and high footballing IQ’s.
Should be celebrated like any sensible supporter would/should do.
Unfortunately in this day and age we have stupes that like to nitpick and vilify them for no valid reason (on here and outside of here).
Revel in lambasting or brainlessly directing expletives towards them, through signs of adversity. Rather than back them, because that is fashionable.
Those ones haven't got a clue or understanding about young talent (or coach) development.
Concept is lost on them.
Can’t stress enough how satisfying it is witnessing them come through and in the first team on merit.
All come through in their different ways, journeys and challenges.
For some of them talent hasn't even began to scratch the surface or become maximised yet!
Limit is the sky for most.
Always have been and always will be proud of them.
Best part is they are working under a rational manager/coaching staff that have foresight and knows how to get a tune out of them by empowering them.
