i thought Rosicky played well
I disagree entirely, constantly gave the ball away, and painfully slow.
Rosicky was our worst player. I though Arshavin came alvie when he was played in the middle.
Szcz saved the one that hit the bar. If he hadnt we would have drawn.
Mert could have done better for their goal.
Rosicky was fairly good I thought. Played quite a few good passes which is what hes there to do.
Frimpong isnt there to play, hes there to stop the opposition play and did a not bad job.

I agree with all but Rosicky did have a good second half.....did some good turns and runs....
Arshavin did well second half as well....
Chamakh, like you, I want him to do well.....I thought he did OK. Was good in putting the defenders under pressure and won a few 50/50's in the top half of the field.....
Arteta looks great....he is not as skilfull as Fabs but he likes to help the team out more in defence which we didn't get much from fabs....
I think Mertesacker is quality, his reading of the game is amazing.....when TV is back we will go through a few games without conceding.....

he never seemed rushed and played in santos for his goal as well. people just love to hate him, for some reason.

Best players tonight: Song by a mile. Arteta was good and his defence work is better than Cesc's was.
i thought everyone played well. arshavin was a little docile in the first half but grew into the game towards the end. rosicky was very composed and arteta really was mr consistent. i really like that quarter back role he plays. he can pick a pass and is very good defensively. frimpong was brilliant tackling but his passing was a little of, but fair play to him. he stuck at his task and performed well. and santos a true brazillian fullback if ever there was one. brilliant going forward and his long balls were top notch. lovely taken goal
I thought Arshavin had a very poor game. For the Olympiakos goal, he just stood still on his heels and didn't even attempt to mark his man (who scored).
He did make some good runs late on, but I don't think that's enough to make up for the lack of effort and the poor finishing.
Thought Chamakh was decent but of course should do more.
Rosicky didn't have a good game, but seemed to settle much more once Ramsey was on, as did the team generally.
Santos and Mertesacker were fantastic, and Song did especially well in the last 20 minutes.
Oxlade-Chamberlain will be an important player for us.
