To be fair I thought it was a really interesting interview. (Klopp's, not Hendo's)
He sounded a bit ridiculous at times calling out the interviewer personally, but I think his points about kick off times were very valid - Ole himself angrily raised the exact same points just 3 weeks ago, and that was after a very good win.
“I don't know how often I have to say it. You picked the 12:30. After Wednesday, Saturday at 12:30 is really dangerous for the players."
Although I agree with him in principle, the TV companies aren’t picking his side; he’s doing that, and he has a squad of 25 players plus U23s and U18s to select from.
If it really is “really dangerous” to play players on Weds night then Sat morning, then who’s ultimately putting them at risk? Who’s telling them to pull the shirt on?
Clue: It isn’t Des Kelly.

It’s like coming back from the local mechanic, noticing that he hasn’t fixed the seatbelts in the back of the car properly, but then taking the kids to school in it anyway before calling up the mechanic’s receptionist and giving *her* both barrels about the fact that you’ve done it
It isn’t the receptionist’s fault that you’re driving your kids around without seatbelts on.

Just checked and Liverpool have already registered 32 players with the PL this season.
Even with the various injury issues, I’d imagine that’d give him two complete starting XIs. If not, then he has other players in the U23s and U18s to select from.

Well, I’d be happy with that, yes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So essentially the players have played far too many games, we've got 10 senior outfields fit now, have played youth players in key positions for several games now and everybody is happy with how the game is going...
We've had the worst bout of injuries but it'll happen to every other club with European commitments at some stage this season and then you'll be making the same arguments.
When there was barely any off season, why are we still playing 2 cup competitions? Why are they squeezing in extra international breaks and 3 games rather than 2 in those breaks?
Why are we putting teams in Europe on the early Saturday kick off?
You think the broadcasters really want to pay billions to see the Liverpool U23s?
Why is this any different to Europa League sides playing in a Thursday and then again on a Sunday lunch time? Its been happening for years and no one has moaned. Wolves played more games than anyone last season whilst using less players; yet it wasn't an issue then.
Just typical big clubs nonsense where they moan when things don't go their way. Much like his VAR is now a problem according to Liverpool fans, players and staff, but worked perfectly last season when Neto's goal was disallowed against them for Jonny's toenail being offside in the build up.

But Mourinho was moaning about this a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely agree with him, it's the same problem with Europa League fixtures.
Players have the right to moan about the penalty (they are saying the offside was correct). They've said that walking off the pitch even the Brighton players thought it was a ridiculous decision and that tells you a lot.

Yeah his it wasn’t so much the arguments he has, it was the way he went after that poor bloke in the interview.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s like coming back from the local mechanic, noticing that he hasn’t fixed the seatbelts in the back of the car properly, but then taking the kids to school in it anyway before calling up the mechanic’s receptionist and giving *her* both barrels about the fact that you’ve done it
It isn’t the receptionist’s fault that you’re driving your kids around without seatbelts on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you'd just pull your kids out of school in that situation?

Although I agree with him in principle, the TV companies aren’t picking his side; he’s doing that, and he has a squad of 25 players plus U23s and U18s to select from.
If it really is “really dangerous” to play players on Weds night then Sat morning, then who’s ultimately putting them at risk? Who’s telling them to pull the shirt on?
Clue: It isn’t Des Kelly.

The analogy is clunky; but the point remains that Klopp doesn’t have to start any of the same players on Sat lunchtime that he started on Weds night.
