Hate seeing Cavani playing for United. Always rated him as one of the best in Europe. He’s always been massively underrated and often maligned because he’s not the most clinical finisher in the world but I honestly don’t know a striker who gets himself in goal scoring positions the way he does.
I have said it all along, Rashford has 0 footballing brains and Martials first intent is to fall to the ground rather than score
I'd be hesitant to start him... His injury record is not great and he's getting on in years... We'd need to manage him properly and use him as and when required

He probably does... I'd bring him off the bench...
He'll definitely be dying to start midweek!!!
Cavani showed his quality and his experience today. But like Memphis said, we should use him wisely.
We're not exactly a club with a good record for injuries.
His movement is unreal. Used to watch him in Champions League matches in awe of it - its up there with the best I've ever seen from any CF.
Class act, just shows what absolute poverty we have in CF position when Martial and in particular Rashford play there.
Ed may be on the wrong side of 30 but he's still got it. Fitness and hunger permitting he could easily give us a season, maybe 2.
Long-term we need someone like Haaland there.
Martial or Rashford are not, I repeat ARE NOT CFs!

Yea, that dumb cross into Cavani had me pulling my hair out.
Giving breathing a rest ffs
Martial and Rashford don’t score either of those Cavani goals today. That’s what we’ve been missing; goal-scoring instinct upfront.

He wants play in England
Haaland is Aguero’s replacement next summer. Wishful thinking to think otherwise.

An over exaggeration, Martial has hit bad form.
In his first full season as our striker he had 35 goal contributions having been injured for two months and with Pereira/Lingard giving him non existent service.
He’ll be back in form soon enough.

Not Peps type of player imo.
Great goal scorer but not great in other aspects of build up and fluidity.

Until he truly ends up at Real then anything is possible
Seems like he bought some of Suarez behaviour with him too.
