Hope De He's isn't too banged up but I'd really like to see Hendo get a few games in a row.

De Gea should be keeping clean sheets in this team but fails miserably. I reckon if De Gea played 2nd half we would have conceded 1 more goal.

Did very well to come off the bench, but DeGea is still no:1. I’m not putting fault on those 2 goals. Not mush he could do. DeGea hasn’t shown signs of mishaps he’s had previously.
We can’t afford to destroy the mans confidence.
Henderson will be hungry all season, looking to seize and impress at any opportunity he gets.

Brought calm, confidence and assuredness. I would happily start Hendo ahead of DDG any day!

De Gea been poor since the World Cup in 2018. Statistically not even a top 100 keeper yet plays for us regularly and we wonder why we struggle. Look at Chelsea got rid of a below average keeper for a world class goalkeeper and suddenly all those soft goals they were conceding have gone and instead are being saved more points by world class saves.

To win the league you need a good keeper. We have De Gea since 2011 and he has massively regressed.

Club made a mistake not cashing in on DDG. Hendo number 1 and Romero number 2

Just look at last season cup competitions. Our other keepers barely concede and De Gea comes and we concede from nearly every shot on goal and are knocked out including around 4 goals De Gea should have saved in those 3 competitions.

We conceded 4.41 goals more than expected on the PL which means we are 17th best side in that regard.

De Gea has been relatively reliable this season and he can't be blamed for either goal today.

Look at Sheffield United since Henderson left. He also had a better save percentage than De Gea last season.

Great stopper but still to this day does not dominate his area, never will. For a keeper that's the biggest flaw. We have a suspect defence that's why a dominate keeper is a must to organise and to bring a little assuredness

Sheffield United have also been very very poor up front. And they went and spent 24m on a striker who had one season at Championship level.

When you have better keepers at the club, it makes no sense to keep playing him. Look at Chelsea, they acted and benefitted. Same with Liverpool.

I wouldn’t blame DDG for the first goal or the freekick.

Exceptional ‘keepers sometimes save those kind of FKs. Sometimes they don’t.

But I wouldn’t be against giving Hendo a run now.
