Even though Auba scored goals (before this season) there was never a queue of clubs wanting him. At his age and the money he wanted only Arsenal were stupid enough to pay that. He will only regress and he doesn't have another facit to his game that he can bring.

I agree. Another mistake just like Ozil and Willian. Even when he is finding the net, his overall game is very limited.
As a striker you are not going to get time to wait for through balls to be one on one anymore. Football, especially in the prem, has changed
All the other too strikers in the league have more to their game than Auba
Aubameyang has been banging them in from the moment he stepped off the plane almost 3 years ago. Literally carrying the entire side on his back.
So what if he's currently having a dry spell? What if it was a long term injury instead?
There's nothing stopping any of the other 25 players in the squad from finding the back of the net.

Forget what he has done since he has come. What is doing right now?
For the money he on and being captain, he has to be doing more

Any player can go through a dry spell. Call it a personal crisis in confidence. Maybe even trouble at home.
Whatever it is, Arsenal FC should not begin and end with one man. This has been clear to anyone who's been paying attention over the past 2 seasons.
Should have cashed in when his stock was high.
Brilliant player. His form has definitely dropped but I feel it's more the others bringing him down to their level.
He does need to do more himself but the lack of service is just killing him.

And then what? We'd simply end up spending half of it on about 3-4 Portuguese-speaking cloggers. And the other half on propping up our annual accounts.
I wouldn't trust the people in charge of our player recruitment with 5 quid.
Auba and ALL the attacking players barr Saka, are just about sick and tired of playing in this pathetic system where the manager has all the MFs banned from the centre of the attacking third. Nobody there linking play, leaves crossing as the only creating option. Auba has no aerial game and isn't a poacher so crossing him the ball is largely a waste of time.
Besides that, he's not a bloody machine Castor, he was always going to have a dry spell eventually. Don't confuse a dry spell and frustration at a system which stifles his game. With Ozil's 5 year retirement on the job. Because unlike Ozil, Auba will perform again. Short of injury, you can fully expect to see him close to the golden boot or with it at the end of the season, for the 3rd year on the spin. He's just having a rest, one he has earned.
Auba ain't the issue. The team just has not identity and no plan. That's down to the manager and the clowns at the top. If he was playing at any other club he'd be banging em in right now.

I think Harry Maguire has had more shots than Auba this season. No is asking for a machine. We are asking for more dam effort
Haha surprise suprise Ozil has come into the conversation lol
Looks like a great decision now that doesn't it👀
Why do people find excuses for Auba. Just judge on the moment. He has been piiiss poor since he signed. He is our club captain and is hiding away instead of show up and at least try.
He isnt alone though. Xhaka, Laca, Ceballos, Bellerin, Willian are not at the races at all. You cant have 5-6 players in the team not at the required level.
The excuses for Auba are laughable. I know he is a popular player but he is our captain who is giving us absolutely nothing at the moment
I wonder how long you had this article sitting in your outbox waiting to press send.
Auba may not be one of the best strikers we have had and granted Arsenal have had some cracking forwards but he is not the problem and for the current state of the club, we cant do any better so moaning about a player we cant even upgrade is stupid.
He's going through a bad patch. All strikers do. He's been our saviour every other season he's been here though. Stop talking shiiit.
