He wanted the Ozil contract
World class striker my ars*World class strikers make goals for themselves when the service is not forthcoming.
Auba’s overall games is so limited.
World class striker 😂🤣🤣😂
Did some of you just start watching football? 🤣
He is one of the worst players at Arsenal right now.
People saying he's rubbish, come on we know would have been class at any other big club.
Just wondering why (when his stock was higher than it is now when leaving Dortmund) he chose arsenal in the first place when it was clear to see arsenal are in a bit of a wilderness phase at the moment. I'm sure at some point arsenal will come back, it just seems strange to me why any top name player would join a club that's not likely to achieve any league titles or European success in the short/medium term.
You could say the same about Pogba coming back to United as an example or use any other example, I guess I've just focused on Auba for this article. Did other clubs put bids in for him and he just wanted arsenal? Was it money? Did nobody else want him?

Back when he was available, Chelsea, City, PSG, Juve, Inter, Real ( I think Juve are more likely to be toppled than City & Liverpool are domestically which is why I include Inter)

actually its the childish arsenal fans who rate there their players world class one day and garbage the next day.
Can people stop hating on the players and focus the anger where the blame actually lay. Square on the head of Arteta. This pigheaded insistence on staying with this formation and gameplan, as well as his pathetic and blatant player favouritism, are killing the team.
Apart from Willian (he's takin' the mick) there's not really justification to be mad at any of our attacking players. They're literally being handicapped week in week out by their own managers stupidity and stubbornness.
Aubameyang is certainly world class. He's just not getting the service he deserves. I agree with the premise of the post though. He really did settle by signing with Arsenal. His loss though.

Maradona joined lowly Napoli when there were a host of top European clubs that would have loved to sign him. Players choose what challenge they want to take on and where. In any event, Auba has won trophies at Arsenal so whilst the team and Auba are currently on a bad run, at least it's a cup winning team.
Drop auba into a functioning team and he’ll score goals. The entire team is awful and just not working, you’d have to be a true top level elite attacking player to come out shining playing in our team at the moment. If we were creating lots of chances and auba was fluffing them all then I’d worry he’s not good enough. Basically Everyone is playing awful, so It’s hard to pick on one player at the moment. I wish our problems were just because of 1 or 2 players not playing well, but it’s far worse than that
Arsenal are hugely dependant on Auba's goals, he's been carrying them and Arteta.
Now the goals have dried up, Arsenal are struggling.
They need more attacking threat.
We don’t know how to involve auba anymore, so he can’t carry us. We had a good system of playing out the back, breaking the lines switching to auba on the left he cuts in and scored. But it’s been figured out, which is inevitable if you do one thing all the time. But we’ve not adapted and we never figured out another way of scoring during that time, or since, so now we’re left with absolutely no way of scoring.
Why did Aubameyang choose Arsenal?
Because nobody else was stupid enough to pay him more than 300K a week.
If you wumming try it properly.
