no fans have ever whined about injuries as much as Liverpool this season. United had a ridiculously bad injury crisis in 2016 and their fans didn't whine so much.

Agree Sandy .....they have had the rub of the green for too long
We keep getting told how great they and their squad are
So let’s see it.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're already seeing it. Despite all the injuries, still joint top, even with the difficult fixtures we've had in comparison.
Sorry but no...
What the world has seen in the last 2 games is your squad now struggling. Beaten by Atalanta and then struggled to a point against Brighton (who should have been out of sight at half time)
So no, we are not seeing anything of this great squad right now.

Ok well that's your version of the world. In mine we have a depleted squad and are top of our CL group and joint top of the league. In the last game, knowing qualification is basically wrapped up, on top of the players out due to injury, we rested further players, in order to have a semi-fit team versus Brighton. Brighton out of sight at half time is mind-boggling. I don't know what game you were watching. We weren't at our best and it looked like we tried to stroll the game, take it easy and avoid further injuries. It didn't work.
Hopefully we rest players for the CL game this week also, as like I said before, we're basically through and if need be, we just beat Midtjylland in the last game to finish top of the group.
Yes - it's obvious we're not as good as last season, as we have top players missing but you're still seeing how great the squad is, despite having all these players missing, top of both PL and CL group. Did you expect them to stay at the same level with all the players missing?
thats a little out of context isnt it?
as they are the latest two games which is showing the injuries are catching up to you
I wont argue that you are getting some bad luck right now... and that any side would struggle with the number you have out.

Why is it the last two games showing it and not the previous two games? It appears to me that you're choosing a range to suit your argument. Confirmation bias even. Factually we're joint top of the league and top of our CL group, despite the injuries. Bear in mind, in that time, we've played, in the 10 league games so far; City, Arsenal, Leicester, Everton and Chelsea. All this despite the injuries. So yeah, I think they have proven its a top squad.

Fans of other clubs kept crying about injuries too. In fact, not getting injuries is a regular everyday excuse for Liverpool blowing away the league last season. They should have not whined about injuries, even making excuses when the league was won by the biggest margin even before covid hit.
Now that the shoe is on the other foot, suddenly Liverpool fans cannot cry about injuries like everyone else has been doing the last two seasons.
Standard.

Liverpool fans have upped the level for moaning about injuries this season.
my reply was to Dr Sheldon.
I wasnt choosing a range... surely if im making a point about the injuries catching up with you, only the last game (or two) is relevant? hence the "catching up" with you bit.
You have the best first 11 in the land, by some distance... however i dont think you have a great squad.

So why are we top of the league, top of our CL group, despite the worst injury list in the league? The Anfield crowd?
Confirmed top of the group with a game to go. Three kids brought into the team, one of them gets the goal, one the assist and the other pulling off saves to keep us in the lead. Not a great squad and it's all falling apart, if you take the last two games before this one but ignore the others of course.
