It is a fair worry as it’s been the last two seasons and it’s gets harder the older you get. There are exceptions though so let’s hope we don’t have another Falcao

Falcao had a far more serious injury than Cavani had though and looked to struggle with the pace of English football from the get go.
It doesn’t appear to be an issue with Cavani.
That being said I do think Ole is protecting him well and others have to step up to ensure we don’t become too reliant as that is when injuries may reappear.

Yeah I think Ole is doing that and in a different way doing the same with Donny by bringing him in slowly.
The reaction to Donny’s playing time was OTT to say the least.
Cavani can hopefully teach the likes of Rashford and Martial a thing or two also.
The last two seasons are most relevant and why it’s a worry that he won’t stay fit. It’s because he’s played so many games, in an intensive manner, that he’s starting to suffer from injuries. Eventually your body will start breaking down under that sustained pressure.
alas he's likely to get another rest for 3 PL games.

We got Cavani now. I know after that video we got Ighalo but he was always going to be a stop gap.

That's generally the case, but not always. Seems that some players also learn about their bodies as they get older and manage themselves so as to prolong their careers. Look at Ibra, how many games has he played? And I remember Ronaldo looking like his body was catching up with him years ago at Real and look at how strong he's still going. They're obviously the exceptions more than the rule, but with enough discipline and hard work, with the aid of modern sports science and and a touch of luck, players can play to a high level for a long time nowadays.
Pretty astonishing to think Messi, Ronaldo and Ibra could all end up hitting 1,000 senior appearances
Yeah I do agree with that. Though I think Zlatan and Ronaldo are genetic freaks. They also didn’t play a style of football that was as taxing on the body as Cavani has. A similar thing is starting to happen with Suarez.

Hi there, RC.
Doubt we'll ever know anything close to the true extent of doping in football.
These stars are beyond me. Why would anyone, let alone two people, give inoffensive article like this one star
