Seems to have saved his best for the CL so far this season.

He has his moments of brilliance on the big stage. But his inconsistencies are an issue.

Rashford has 2 less goals than Bruno this, the same amount of assists and he doesn't take pens or set pieces.

Why is it that his inconsistencies in general play are acknowledged and Bruno's aren't?

Rashford is a National Treasure who is above and beyond critique.

He's a player that still makes stuff happen even when out of form. Playing him back into top form is a no brainer really and he will be in PSG's heads from the start.

His consistency will come I'm sure but you can't question his mentality. Even when he's really poor he can make something happen.

I do think he's trying to vary his game but sometimes he's unselfish at the wrong times! Let's hope he runs PSG ragged tonight.

I think it’s maybe because Rashford hasn’t shown up enough in the league this season. For instance Bruno has come up with massive goals in the league.

The winner at Brighton, lead goal vs Newcastle, equalizer, lead goal vs Everton & goal to get us back into the Saints game.

In the league Rashford has only one important goal.

of course rashford can be a little frustrating, but i am finding it odd that he is getting so much grief when our other two usual forwards have been much worse this season - neither martial nor greenwood have a single PL goal to their name, martial has just 1 from open play, greenwood has 2 (1 being a cherry on cake goal vs luton).

so why is marcus so often the scapegoat? what do you all have against kids eating?

Possibly because the other 2 have gotten more stick in the press and from pundits.

For a lot of this season so far all 3 haven’t been good enough yet.

Okay, i'm back.

Some good responses to my post i see

Firstly, i would like to highlight that i am not being selective over some players in regards to analysis. My reason for posting about Rashford was that it is he over any of the younger lads who is most capable of moments of magic on the big stage. And it is Rashford in this regards who has caused PSG problems in his last couple of games against them.

I know very well that the likes of Martial and Greenwood have had their own issues on the pitch too. Especially Martial in similarity to Rashford. And i have brought these points up in on other folk's posts before. All three can be raw and lethal, but have always fallen shy of the top real quality attackers require in today's game.

Which of the three will have the ability to improve their own game and cement that attacking spot for themselves? Who knows, but having the likes of Cavani in the squad hopefully shows these three what is required in their own game.

As for Bruno, he's okay meh.
