Hopefully Istanbul can get something in the early KO tonight. If they could win that would mean United would virtually be through unless we lost really heavily in Germany next week. If it's a draw then a draw tonight would virtually wrap up the group as winners.

True true but it’s not the be all and end all especially with the top clubs being as weak as they are right now. Wouldn’t fear anyone other than Bayern.

No it’s not, but it’s still better to be top when you look at the draw. As well as getting the second leg at home (though how many fans will be allowed in by then remains to be seen). If we need at least a draw to top the group Ole will, and should, take his key players.

Winning tonight would be the ideal scenario of course. Only a six goal defeat would prevent us winning the group next week then.
