Ole’s hand was forced to some degree. Edi gets injured, would he have made the double change?
And let’s not brush over the shocking Fred decision.
Cos it was.
But gets a portion of the credit, sure, but that felt more like everyone raised their levels, but they need to look at themselves.
This slow, lack of intensity starts, are gonna be the death of us, we need to start strong always....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I just don't think they are fit enough to do it for more than one or two spurts per game. But that's an issue that predates Ole. The most worrying thing about that is that when we're conserving energy, we can't seem to even do the basics like keep possession and we give away a lot of changes

Totally agree. It’s amazing how the quality drops, and it effects everyone, to the point that they totally forget the basics.
That fackin’ corner.
Telles ultimately is to blame for losing his man.
But what was Pogba doing?
And why on Earth was Lindeloff instructing the guys, think it was 4 of them to be beyond the penalty spot in a line.
It may of been an out swinger, but it was never gonna go that far and that deep, so there’s this huge gap, where the four of them had to turn and run at our own goal to defend.
And what happens? The flick on takes them all out the game just like that!
There’s zonal marking, and then there’s damn right foolishness.

But there's amazing character in this team. Whatever mud you want to throw at them, they've been behind in every league away game this season and won all of them. I'm giving Ole this one.

We're bi polar as feck

Undoubtedly we show character to keep coming back to win away

But when we're bad... Even bad periods of the game... The thing that annoys me most is the lack of heart and balls some of the team show

Even our character is inconsistent

Quite agree Kung Fu. As I've said umpteen times I'm not an Ole inner as such I'm a leave Ole where he is until he deserves to be sacked. Which he isn't at the moment or the near future.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So basically leave him there and hope for the best. We don't know what the near future holds.

I admit nothing, but feel free to get a restraining order.

We no that he won't deserved to be sacked before Christmas, which is the near future.
Did you enjoy the win today?

I always enjoy a win, and a comeback is even sweeter.

However it isn't sustainable to keep doing this. We are going to need more consistent performances where we are clever with the ball.

Well no. Getting results away but not home isn't consistent as they both count. And I was referring to actual performances not results. Get the performances right and the results follow, without having to rescue so many games.

Well it's either a motivation or tactical problem, and no longer about not having players fit. Not sure how he is going to solve it.

No you don't . You hope he will fail miserably to the extent that Ed has to sack him. Then he might appoint Potch. If he is still available.

I'm enjoying watching us commit to building an identity (on telly, granted), with all the bumps in the road that entails, rather than us being just another revolving door quick fix merchant like everyone else.

Come on RB&W, you should know the difference between hoping for something and thinking that it's not likely to happen.

I also want that. I actually prioritise it above winning anything. But when I see sloppy passing and movement plus half-hearted pressing so often, I doubt we're really going anywhere.
