Your free fall down the table was to be expected. Said it before, you are not ready for the PL yet. You needed 11 games for 14 points, You might just scrape survival but it will be a nervy season ahead.
Generally, I agree Hansa ... most of us (Leeds fans) will be delighted just to stay in the Prem this season. However, I disagree that we’re not yet ready for the Prem ... all we need is 3 worse teams than us and at the moment, that’s certainly the case. We need to survive this season and then strengthen again next Summer.
Not sure we're in any sort of freefall. We're getting the results that were always likely this season, in fact we've done better than I'd imagined if i were being totally honest. Some we'll win, many we won't - not exactly a shock for the first season back after 16 years. As commented above, survival this season must be the initial aim, if we can get higher then even better.
We're 3 points away from 7th. I assume those in between are in a similar freefall? We're above Arsenal after 11 matches, who'd have thought that one?
I'm still totally positive. We came up short against a very good Chelsea side, for parts outplayed. But i can still see us creating and scoring enough to get the wins/draws/points we'll need to stay up. Then as Mirrorman says, build again and go again next season.
The key for us is retaining MB. We need his management and style until the club hopefully can stabilise in the Prem.
Thought Chelsea were excellent. Said before the game and was confirmed, it’s difficult to argue that any of our players would get into their side. Phillips was excellent for us but Kante is a brilliant player.
Really tough game in which we were outplayed completely. I don’t think our players put in a bad performance either. Was really impressed with Phillips.
But to suggest we aren’t ready is nonsense. We are not in danger of going down. We are probably about right where we are. Hopefully we can finish a bit higher. But being outplayed by Chelsea with the level of players they have and the money they have spent does not worry me at all.

Imagine us playing that match with players the calibre of Chelsea's?
I think Bielsa is great but players need to be upgraded over time and it takes time.
It's no disrespect to the players we have, I would say all of whom are performing at the best they ever have under Bielsa, bar maybe our new signings this season but as we know it takes time to fit in.
One hopes the better the quality, the easier it is to fit in, but key as you say is retaining Bielsa and then properly supporting him.
Can't wait to see how the RocNation initiative starts benefiting the team.

We absolutely need to build on what we have, but it'll take time.
I'm actually glad we've got the bulk of the team that got us promoted still playing for us. They deserve a crack at this level, and we've complimented them with more and better (in theory) additions. It's a building process - Chelsea have had much longer and far more resource to get themselves where they are. I expected Saturdays result, even after we scored first, but i saw no shame or reason to be downbeat about our prospects this season. I think we'll survive and reasonably well. MB is the key though.
1st season back was always going to be tough. I had to smile at some on here talking about top 6 and some even saying top 4 after a few good results!
Games against the likes of Chelsea will not decide whether we survive but games against the Palaces, Newcastle and West Hams of the division will.
Well I was disappointed before the game started, no Rodrigo and strange team colours, who is messing about with our colours?
We are Leeds and we play in all white, what's with the theatrical shirts and shorts?
Great comments above and yes, holding onto Bielsa is an absolute must for next season👍

what are you on about? firstly were more than ready for the pl unless you mean ready to win it.
there's been no slide down the table.
14 pts from 11 games is not too bad, it will easily keep us up.
not to mention we have brought life to the pl in terms of entertaining football.
