Just a reminder the imbeciles in the VAR room gave this as handball against Mane.
usually used to copenhagen n brondby when i think Danish teams.
i've defended var plenty of times before now as a good idea, and stated how it should be beneficial for the game, but the problem is it's being mis-used and being asked to solve problems it's not designed for, or technically capable of.
but that's it now. i've had enough. it's got to go.
the problem still isn't var itself. it that it's application is about as transparent as a cup of coffee buried in a muddy bog on a foggy night.
and the decision making is about as consistent as the output of a random number generator.
it's not being used to help the game, it's being used to protect the referee. and it seems that no one in charge wants to make any attempt to resolve the obvious inadequacies.
when was the last game when the big talking point afterwards wasn't about something in game, but VAR instead?

Would like to see Taki get a game in the front 3 with the actual first team.
Not sure what he can show playing in midfield or playing with the second string all the time.

Just think hes got to be doing more with the chances he gets. He had salah and jota in front of him tonight making runs. He had keita alongside him so there was enough around him at top end of pitch to make more happen than he did.
The same goes for keita too though. Maybe more so him given hes a 50 odd million pound signing. Appreciate hes just come back to fitness but in a game like that against players that really arent in his quality bracket, he offered little.
just watched it again that doesnt touch manes arm at all does it. jasus so bad from them. they were awful tonight. Thankfully it didnt matter much. Midget get more share of prize money for group draw they deserve it.

hes done really well, he came out n spread himself but ball knocked around him and clipped player. Was a pen, issue was it looked offside from a lot of replays but they still gave it. He made some decent saves again today, claimed some crosses etc did well again. Hes looking good, confident on the ball too. Prob easily our no.2 now over Adrian.
👍 as an Ireland supporter hopefully he continues to get game time to aid his development
