I know how we'll score. They say luck evens itself out, so with the amount of good luck we have coming our way it will be an own goal and a big deflection. Maybe we'll get a dodgy penno out of it as well.

Agree despite losing I actually enjoyed the game of football.
I think it was one of our best performances of the season.
I doubt mind losing if there is team spirit and something to build on going forward.

Agree with what you say Doha. Wednesday was an improvemnt on the Watford performance, and the Watford performance was an improvement on what had gone on before. (The Reading performance was affected by the Yates red card).

If we can maintain that level tomorrow we could get something from the game.

We can then look forward to some games against less testing opponents. If we then continue to fail to score goals we will be in trouble; but I expect us to get 7 or 8 points at least from the remaining 5 games this year

Yes, definitely progress being made in our attacking play.
I ended up listening to the Norwich commentary and they were beside themselves when we were attacking during that last 10 minutes. I think we have something.

Definitely agree with the ‘progress being made’ comments, but we still have to have consistent halves of football in the same game. We looked to carry a lot more threat on Wednesday when Knockaert came on, if only Guerrero could head a ball on target we would more than likely have got the point we deserved. Today will be another tough test, but as the sheep showed Brentford can be blunted, it may not be pretty to watch, but it can be effective. Today I feel will be a bit like Wednesday, we need to grow into the game and definitely not let Brentford score early. I have more optimism than I’ve had for a while but don’t think we will win today, again, the performance is important and a draw would be ok. I’m going to go for a 1-1.

I think the two good halves will come when we become a bit braver; both players and manager. I think that on Wednesday like games before it the game plan would have been keep it tight for 70 minutes then give it a go. When the opposition scores that changes.

In the second half on Wednesday the FBs pushed forward a bit more and that changed things. Which made me think: Both Christie and Ribs are better going forward than defending. Christie and Knockaert on the right, and Ribs and Ameobi on the left posed real problems for Norwich. Why not ask them to play as Wing Backs in a 3-5-2 or even a 3-4-3.

Worth a try against Cardiff in the Cup

I guess Sow's appearances have to be rationed, and CH does like Yates.

Thought Knockaert would start after his second half performance v Norwich

Canos on the bench for them hope he stays there; he usually plays well against us.

Not quite getting the Yates hate from some of the fans,

He's you cant scapegoat a young lad who at worst is playing bang average when there's experienced players like christie, fig and samba being outright poor.

Brentford with some dangerous play, hopefully we weather it and get something,

Well we’ve definitely rectified the problem we had last season of being too inconsistent

We’re definitely consistent now

Consistently SH!TE

Imagine being Mbe-Soh. Sat on the bench, watching Fig being diasterclass every single game.

Every.
Single.
Game.

Surely hughton can see this?

Barnsley equalises, keeping us out of the Remegation Zone on GD....for the moment

Could be worse. You could have got up to watch this.

Figs. He had his good game. Back to relegating us.

If only the fans were in the stand to tell CH how great he is.

Get Soh in. Simple.

Following a all too familiar pattern unfortunately. Sheep can at least defend.

What strikes me is how deeply unfair the whole fans back in stadiums is. We play away to clubs who have fans and that help to pull them over the line but are not allowed fans at home. Feels like any club in tier 3 has been given an extra hurdle to overcome for the next few months.

Actually, Figs generally costs us a goal a game. If we could just score two goals a game we’d be top six.

This is absolutely pants. Players don't seem bothered. Three subs on now please

So frustrating. How can this team play so well at Norwich and so poor today. CH has to take some blame for this as he is keeping players in the team who don't seem bothers and then players like Knockaert who seemed to really be fired up on Wednesday get kept on the bench
