I wouldn't be against that and would hope Bale would look better, combining with Kane and Son.

A good performance v Palace will set us up nicely for the Liverpool game

I think Jose goes with this team too. Based on the fact Gio played 90 minutes last night and will probably swap him for Ndombele in 2nd half.

I think we proved with Burnley, Brighton and WBA that it doesn’t quite work with Sissoko - you loose too much in attack for it to be worth having him to help defend.

Our most dominant performance of the season behind the Utd game in my opinion was Newcastle - in which we win that game 9 times out of 10. Our other best performance I thought was against Southampton.

I wouldn’t mind giving Lucas a shot as well, he was our second best player on Thursday and it means we can save Bergwijn for Liverpool.

Sissoko played v United but not Newcastle.

Good shout and will be interesting to see what José goes with.

The other option is to play GLC, PEH and Ndobz with no Sissoko.

Palace scored 5 last week, so maybe José will go with Sissoko though to be safe, rather than Winks.

I think the fist pumping after Gio's goal last night by Jose (normally pretty cool in goal celebs) was cos of the success of trying him as a wide right forward with Kane and Son.

Think Gio will start there vs either Palace or Liverpool.

I agree it could be his best role, although
we have Bale, Lucas, Lamela, Bergwijn - so him being there would make at least 2 of them redundant.

Love Gio but it will certainly test his tracking back and discipline playing there especially in big games, also hes depressingly one footed.

Winks shouldn`t and won`t be anywhere near the 1st XI for a while now. Whatever possesses anybody to think he could hold a place down in the current set up.

They will all get game time on a regular basis, other than Winks, who I think is just about done. Simply not good enough. Keep as a squad player, but I suspect he won`t want that.

I agree.

He could be used against the lower sides, like in Carabao cup, but he is out of his depth against better oppositions/players.

It's nice for once we are in a situation where most of us can name a very similar side. It shows stability and also most of the players performing

Even yesterday, he was completely anoymous first half, until he was subbed, all he did was give away free kicks.
