Why are we expecting ox to come on for his first football in months and turn this game around?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kind of hoping he just goes fack this and lashes it into the top corner

He's a very attacking player with a point to prove, need something to unlock this defence.

Ox is the only one who I'd back to score out the box to be fair

Probably coz it was accidental. I imagine if they'd scored from it, it would have been disallowed by VAR though

This is dire.

No plan b.

From what I've seen, it isn't that they set out to be defensive, rather that you dominated possession and attacked well. Son's goal was good though

I mean they have defended pretty well. Liverpool relegated to *mostly* half chances. Not that much in the way of clear opportunities. Probably about as many clear chances as Spurs to be fair.

They very much set out to be defensive. That is clear from their positioning

What's the point of playing on if you're going to disallow the goal at the end ??

Can't understand what they have done with the rules these days. So little logic

It's basically if it touches a hand in the build up of an attack it'll get disallowed - but I suppose the accidental rule is still in play in real play?

Lallana had his goal disallowed earlier for something similra

But it's a massive waste if time if you just play on and then say no goal. Blow up as soon as the attacking team can no longer score

I suppose it's for the ones that get missed in real time, like Henry's v Ireland? No idea to be honest - I agree with you.
