Your sour defensive tactics
Maureen's tantrum
Aurier did do well
Lloris made a lot of decent saves
Some spurs fans thinking that over a season, Maureen's negative, sterile style will win you the league
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Counter attacking football, and it could’ve won us the game.
Lloris made hardly any particularly impressive saves. Most of your shots were pea rollers from outside the area.
And Mourinho’s tactics could win us the league.
Nice that we agree on Aurier though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You’re right about Hugo, made on decent saves.
That’s why you lost
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah can agree on that. If he’d have managed to scramble across to that fluky deflection it could’ve been a different result.

Phil..
You spurs boys are fkking non stop taking shots at us ..its really boring to read and the reasons our lot do articles about ye when we win..
I dont do bashing threads but i do agree with them ..sick of reading the spurs liverpool.thing ..its boring
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree it’s boring. But it’s a handful of posters. There’s 2 or 3 main culprits for Spurs. Not sure how many there are on your side.
Got to buy one power player at CB...... Upamecano...
Cannot win games with 24% possession.
Platers like Bergwyn and Moura will miss chances, that's who they are.
Levy please
Oh and BTW...Dybala is available too!

I'm disappointed because that was a huge chance to actually be in a title race but we facked it.
First half was pathetic, but jose sorted it out at HT and we were looking very good. He then ruins that momentum taking Gio off for the hapless Moura and we lost our control.
Then when we're at least getting a point we chuck it away by giving their striker a free header in the last minute.
Not good enough when liverpool didn't have a centre back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its nowhere near over. We played well tonight, we generally do at home in big games, and you were well in the game despite the approach, which is the way 99% of teams play at anfiled.
Plenty of twists left id say, unless we go on a run like last season from now to Feb thats the period we won the league but we've too many injuries to get a similar set of results this year id imagine.
Theres a few our side alright .no doubting that..

I’d say about ten.
Here's a good point that's worth thinking about.
Leicester H
Wolves A
Fulham H
Leeds H
Aston Villa A
Shef Utd A
Until we meet again 28 Jan (match 20 half way there)
Liverpool H

Leicester at home, and Wolves and Villa away are ‘tricky’ ones....but at the same time every game on that list are winnable. We might fall away a bit, or we could easily be back top in a week or two.

I’m devastated 🤣
Yes they were all over us - but they’re at home and a really good side.
But to weather that and then blow it like we did by missing chances and a daft corner annoys me more.
Got to be better if we want to finish higher than where we are now
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You know we’re currently second, right? Finishing higher would be winning the league. Not being pessimistic, but I’d be thrilled if we ended up where we are now.
Just frustrating that his fixture seems to play out the same way every year.
Go behind, fight back to level, have a strong second half, create ( and miss ) several good chances then lose it in the last minute. Once again resulting in a 2-1 lose.
From memory last season's game played out out exactly the same, with Hugo palming a nothing cross straight to an attacker to score.
Would be nice if, just for one, the cards fell our way when playing this lot. They just somehow get that big break every time.
Still second with everything to play for, byt really frustrating.
