Great goal of course but I preferred the Suarez one.

How is this award decided? There is no way that goal was better than Suarez’s no matter who you support.

Brilliant goal, well deserved. To still have that composure after running almost the full length of the pitch is incredible.

Sons goal is a really great strike but no way on Earth is it better than Suarez's. The build up to that is great too.

Suarez's nonchalant backheel is masterful. I bet even Son is wondering how won this award🤪

Honestly he didn’t really do much apart from run in a straight line. Only 2 Burnley players attempted to challenge him and all he had to do was kick it past them.

These running in straight line goals are so overrated. Ben Arfa vs Bolton, Bale vs Norwich and even Henry vs Spurs all come to mind.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a goal scored in the manner Suarez did. If it’s been done before I’d like to see it

They really never give credit where it is due. Liverpool fans easily the most insular fans in world football. If it isn't their player, then nobody should get any award.

Yeah, players pick up the ball outside their own box, sprint with it past 5 or 6 players down the other end and ping it in every week

Son could be up for it again next season for his goal against Arsenal.

Never said it was easy and I already gave 3 other examples off the top of my head (Henry vs Spurs, Bale vs Norwich, Ben Arfa vs Bolton). Can you give an example of a goal similar to Suarez’s EVER?

Suraez goal was great tbf would have got my vote.

Wouldn't read too much into the awards. Alisson was the keeper in the best team but Neuer won best goal keeper award
