Same
They've been there for the taking recently but Rashford will probably have the game of his life and Mata will probably score a brace
Should be better than the Manchester derby snoozefest last week
I expect Big United to wallop little United
This isn't the 3rd Div team that embarrassed a mighty Premier side or the 2nd Div team that got demolished by a team costing 5-6 times more than them with half their squad left at home!..
I think ManU can expect the same as what their little town twins got when everybody thought this team would roll over and die!..
We've shown on our day we can damage people, so, just go out and hope our players can play like we know they can, any game is winnable and that's all this is!..
One game at a time, so bring it on!..
Agree with the comments above, their counter attack worries me. Lot of pace upfront and if we lose the ball in midfield, we could be really punished.
They aren't convincing playing out from the back though, so our press could give us some joy.
Going to be a great game, just wish there were fans there for this one.
Should be a cracking game this one. Set pieces and counter attacks certainly a concern and difficult to see us keeping them out. Having said that if we can be clinical when the chances come for us like at Liverpool you never know. Got a feeling Bamford is going to be very prominent.
Oh, how sweet it is, to have this fixture back.
Personally I feel it more with this than Man City.
The edge of this game reaches levels of crazy, same heat as Liverpool. With an extra bit of Dirty.
This shouldn’t be the case here, two good teams. Set up for a classic.
Want the win, don’t care by how much. Just win.
depends a lot on how manchester go about this.
as said above we must capitalize on our chances, i think we will get some good ones.
just don't want to see our defenders leaving their feet for desperate challenges. i can take a well fought defeat but don't want to see any pens given up for unnecessary fouls.
A couple of excellent articles online from The Telegraph and Independent ref the old rivalries between Leeds and Man Utd....most of the games I was a spectator....the one that sticks mostly in my mind is the 1965 FA Cup semi final at Hillsborough...a 0 - 0, but the players were taken off the field to cool down, a real heavyweight contest that was...on the field and off the field, analogy with the Battle of Waterloo comes to mind...I was at that one as well!
In that game Norman and Nobby were in their element!
Big Jack was purple in the face with temper as Denis Law kept provoking him!
Billy and Pat Crerand fought like 2 drunks outside a Glasgow pub!
Bobby Charlton was jumping in between the fights trying to keep the peace between his brother and Denis Law.
The fights were better than the game!

I thought I'd seen highlights of the '65 game a few years back, but it's just the replay:

Dirty Leeds are rank 20 out of 20 for shots conceded and big chances conceded in last 4 PL games.
If you come and sit deep you might get something. If you come and play your usual game our forwards will run riot.
I was at this game, what a day!..

We only have one way of playing and it's not sitting deep:
"A 'Plan B' is like an anxiolytic, something which can reduce anxiety," he says. "What I want to happen hasn't happened, so I demand that you stop what you are doing and you do something different.
"Obviously, if that something different turns out to be effective, it will be seen as a success. But from my point of view, what you have to decide as a manager is whether to completely replace the structure you are trying to build, or whether to just correct what doesn't work about it.
"Every manager has his own profile and they try to maintain that profile while conserving the things that are good and removing the things that aren't. There are very few managers who jump from one style to another and that's because establishing a style of play is very, very difficult and is linked to your way of interpreting football.
"This is not intended as a criticism of anyone, but if someone stops thinking the way they think and starts doing the opposite, then that is difficult to make work in football. To give up on your convictions is not a good way to move a project forward."
