Agreed
We had to at least get a draw at Anfield and we blew it. Now they have the confidence of that win and we have to beat Leicester to even stay in touch.
Even if we beat Leicester I don’t feel we have the quality or firepower throughout the side, but should we not win tomorrow it’s definitely over, we won’t make up 5/6 points on Liverpool
Our surrender the ball tactics cost us v palace and missing sitters cost us an anfield. Top 4 and a trophy this season please

Exactly mate. Any small hope we had of the title was gone the moment we lost at Anfield
It’s amazing really. Jose is probably the least “spursy” manager we could possibly have, but still the same missed opportunities occur. Guess we just have to hope we can win something like the FA cup
Some of your fans were acting wild on here don. I’ve maintained all along pool will win it, before the season, after 5 games etc. Spurs side just isn’t good enough. The tactics are working as well as they could. For spurs this year should be another year in development and if you can keep close to pool and grab a cup you will be in a great position if you strengthen this year
The vast majority of Spurs fans didn’t think we were before the Liverpool game anyway.
Nothing about bottle either, Don. Just not good enough.
We're years ahead of spurs in terms of our squad development under Klopp, for Jose to have you are now is a big step forward from where you were when he took over.
It would be a huge achievement to win the league in his first full season against a side like us who are far more developed under the manager.
Liverpool also were able to made some small changes to their side to freshen up today, one of whom scored in the 3rd minute.
Like said we are far behind Liverpool but so are the rest of the league, not much between of a lot of teams. As for winning the league was anyone other than sandy saying this? only he posts over 50% of articles on here
Yeah I wouldn’t class the Liverpool match as a bottle either, playing with those tactics all the time, you were bound to start missing the odd chances that came your way, players snatch at chances when you mostly have to defend
The way we play relies on taking next to all your chances, don't do that you're gon a be bitten on the arries someway or another. Still think we can finish top 3 which is more than I thought before the season kicked off.
Would love the fa cup too but think if we get a pot it will be the carling cup

Real football fans have been saying all along that we are not yet good enough to win the league. We are doing about what we should be doing in my book but Man City, Liverpool are still ahead of us.
Top four and a trophy is a reasonable aim. Don’t let the children on here tell you otherwise!

I’ve no idea why anyone thought we could win the title just because we were top after 10 games. Said all along that top 4 and a cup would be great. I’m so angry about our approach to the Palace game, as I’ve said numerous times this week. We gave them every opportunity to get back in the game by sitting back and fouling around the box. Handed them a draw on a plate when all our rivals had slipped up that same weekend. We have just as good attacking options as Liverpool, but approach games totally differently - they are showing how easily a good forward line can dispatch Palace, which is what we should’ve done. It was a facking calamitous result. The 2-1 at Anfield I can tolerate, but that draw and the West Ham draw are unacceptable and are the difference between being title contenders and top 4 contenders.
Having said all of that, IF we beat Leicester tomorrow we remain only 3 points behind with Liverpool to come to WHL, so it’s still ‘on’, in theory. Lose or draw tomorrow and you acknowledge that that’s it.
I hope Jose can win something this season, because even if he keeps this group of players together next season the way he has us playing is so mentally exhausting and unsustainable I suspect it’ll start to burn out and the inevitable fall out will start creeping in.
Players like Kane and Son should not be spending 70% of games defending around their own box, end of.

Its defo still on, 3 point difference in December is nothing.
Could be a similar season to the Jose one and United when they won the EL, league cup and finished 2nd. That would be an epic season for spurs

Anything is possible of course, but Salah was rested today for Liverpool, say spurs rest Son which ideally we can during this period then we lose our main goal threat this season.
Agreed, no realistic Spurs fan ever thought we could win it

I’m not sure if Sandy has just become a parody of himself, or he genuinely believes we “will win the title with a bit to spare”
Don, sorry mate, but Palace were all over Liverpool. They are getting lucky.
I aint hoisting the white flag. Spurs were five points behind them, same games played, and had not played any of the so called big games. So why would you concede this side of Xmas.
Spurs will win the title this season. Take it from me.

Also to be fair, it was only a couple of loud mouth WUMs like Sandy and Moronspurs who have been claiming we’ll win the title day in day out. Sandy is a total embarrassment to the rest of us, his behaviour on here is a joke. Moronspurs doesn’t intentionally WUM, he’s just a simpleton with no self awareness whatsoever.
