I stayed patient at the start to see if criticism was thrown early and it was a lose lose situation but I cant defend them now. Making up as you go along stuff. Schools will stay open after Xmas I suspect

Exactly the same mate.

My missus is a teacher and covid has been raging through her school. She just finished isolating yesterday and they wanted her to go back for one day (she declined). The head teacher didn't take it seriously at all and virtually all classes had cases and quite a few teachers got it.

They sue schools at the start of the week for wanting to go online then announce at the end of the week they have to back a week late and the school need to organise testing.

The government are a complete shambles, and I'm no longer interested in what they have to say.

I've worked from home since March and have barely left the house since the pubs shut. I'm happy to go round to see my parents who also wfh next week. Not interested in what the govt advise.

Very similar here mate.

One of the nearest secondary schools closed down i think and teachers and students a plenty have had it. No coincidence its the worst its been in this area now.

Youd think the online learning etc would be advised, encouraged and implemented to the same extend wfh has. Kids mental health is important and of course schools are, but what about everyone else? Kids don't care and surely must be the main spreaders. Are there tests there for pupils? Probably loads roaming around without symptoms oblivious

Over here schools are not cluster centres at all

Fack knows mate here. Mix of things I would imagine but having schools back was never going to keep rates down and risk them rising sky high.

Christmas cancelled interesting to see the figures after everyone has broken the rules for Xmas anyway

I have no intention of changing my xmas plans at this stage. I trust my own judgement and common sense far more than I do the advice of this corrupt, shambolic, indecisive, elitist government. Johnson has to be among the most repugnant reptilian pieces of scuuum walking the planet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Only thing I disagree with here you have been far too generous to Johnson and the government.
