its your job to get buy in from your players. if he can't get them to do what he wants he is just as culpable.
Chelsea are the type of team that will give us a donation point or more to keep Arteta in the job longer

No. Emery got more out of them. Enough of this is only the players faults. They both share it equally but ultimately, it is up to manager to make it work.
Pepe was actually the more lively out of the front three. He has something personal against him

I'm reminded of this game. Said the same thing then as now.
Worst start since 1974. Five points from the last 10 games.

If the club aren’t going to sack him then why doesn’t he resign ffs. He clearly does not have the answer
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aren't we still paying off both Emery and Wenger?
Sacking Arteta would mean having about 3 managers on our payroll in addition to the new man.
You can’t be closing in on relegation with this squad, if you can’t get them at least okay on mid table then you shouldn’t be the manager. The team is very average but it’s not relegation standard
There isn't a single evidence-based or reasonable argument to keep him. It's not Arteta's fault anymore, it's the board's for not getting rid.
Mad that you lot can't see the difference today.

Our whole football philosophy must change. We play very slow, timid and negative football.

you are barking up the wrong tree. teams often sit back after going ahead. if everton were pressing we wouldn't be able to get it past their midfield. thats all down to tactics which strangely emery implemented.

You’re as good as your position in the table, nothing to show is otherwise.
Really feel for Saka, Tierney and probably AMN- the only decent players in our shirt on that pitch.

Yeah, we might have been here two games earlier but for Xhaka. The truth is, results come last, and goals second to last. First thing is getting the team to do something other than play like England circa 2010. 2nd half, the football started to return. Build on that and the quality will show, eventually.

Once you get into the habit of changing managers it will.never stop. Arteta needs support to strengthen in January, then we can judge him thereafter.
