I thought he was the only english player who could "walk into Pep's Guardiola" a few years ago as so many Arsenal fans and some in the media so stupidly claimed
Now apparently he's without a club?
*Pep's Barcelona I meant to say
Certainly a good option for the future but don't think he is quite ready for the Prem yet. Maybe loaning him out for a season or two to someone like Bolton would do him the world of good and in a few years he will be ready to take the step up.
There's also Denilson of Maltese side Sliema Wanderers. He could be a good option. Only 32 so plenty of years left in him. Abu Diaby? Only 34. He may have stopped playing football 3 years ago, but so did Arsenal so could be a great signing.
He's crap and probably needs to be playing in the Championship

He’s awful nowadays. Not surprised he’s without a team.
Would he improve our first 11?
The way our forward line are playing, I don't see how he can do any worse than them playing as a number 10.
He's made of glass though, so I'd be furious if he was the only creative player we got in during the Jan window.
I saw in the Beeb gossip column this morning, and somebody else has mentioned it, about Isco being available. Gotta be a better option then Eriksen, ffs. Loan with option to buy seems reasonable for all parties involved.
He hasn’t signed with anyone because they don’t trust his injury record, he’s the last player I’d look at even on a free. We need players that are fit and consistent.
Why not - Cant be any worse than the dross we have
