We would've lost a lot of points if it wasn't for him.. People can also argue Matip as he's been solid this season, but probably has missed one game too many so far.

He has got more interceptions, more tackles and given away less fouls. Robertson just edged him on key passes per game (1.5 to 1.9).
I think Robertson is the best lb in the league, but we’re talking this year and I think chillwell deserves a mention, the stats back that up. Why you’re so defensive is beyond me. Calvert Lewin isn’t better than mane, but this year he has been,

Agree Chilwell deserves a mention. I think why people are so adamant about Robertson is that he's been so good for so long. He's joint top in assists with KDB since 2017 (or 18?) Which is insane when a large number of people would have de bruyne in their top 3 creative players in PL history. He is quite clearly the best left back in the world imo but hasn't been given the plaudits fully because of the, understandable, fuss about Trent.
too much emphasis on goals to my liking. why a say 15 goal striker on a top team is rated much higher than a 13 goal scorer on a poor team. most people on here only look at the stats

However kdb basically missed 2/3 of one of those seasons. If we include 17 then kdb far ahead.
