EFL Cup rules say any player eligible for Premier League can play in EFL Cup. Saliba is on the Premier League U21 list.

Yeh Arteta giving him the cold reply. I didn't put him in the squad therefore he can't be in the team.

Arteta asked about regrets over selling Emi Martinez:

Whatever Arteta thinks of Saliba, we paid £28m for him - the second highest transfer fee we've even paid for a defender, and someone (Edu) should be telling him to start including him in the squad.

Give Runar chances at this level why not give it to Saliba who cost us that amount of money is a baffling desicion.

Are you sure? I thought the League Cup could only include players registered for the Premier League.

It's YCBC not RGK

Saliba is registered for the PL
