Bellerin is better going forward, than defending. Everyone knows that. I’d keep him and strengthen CM with whatever we get fir AMN, if we’re really going to sell him.
Would have loved to see him make it with us though.
Apparently Arteta cancelled the usual hotel stay before the Chelsea game. So no usual long teamtalks before the game. I think thats the formula. Less from Arteta.
Tbh that sounds more like rumourmongering than fact, J99.
We book hotel stays before a home game? Really?
Yeah, an Ibis. Out near Brent Cross.
They’re replacing Visit Rwanda as our sleeve sponsors next season.

Bellerin actually doesn't suit our style if the base is going to be 4-2-3-1. Remember how Wenger played Lauren (a converted RM/CM) at right back and Cole (also converted LW) to provide the width? Its because they both could step into midfield on counter attacks. Think AMN and Tierney better suit the style.
I think Bellerin was more suited to Wing Back. Wenger started experimenting with that formation and Oxlade.

Yeah, see I seem to be in a minority that think Bellerin is a better fit for how we (the supporters) want Arsenal to play, than AMN.
Don’t get me wrong, Ainsley has his uses. Just think if he’s starting for us, his better as LWB than RB.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Completely agree Lex. AMN looks far better at LWB imo
It shouldn’t be a case of AMN or Bellerin

Arteta said that before the game started when he was talking abt Covid.
The difference is we didn’t have Eddie, Pepe and Willian stinking it up front. And also we played Chelsea who have a manager arguably more clueless than our own

Bellerin has no idea how to stop attacks in midfield. Just think back to Son's goal. Take a look at Bellerin's positioning.
Auba can’t shoot, Ceballos can’t pass, Tierney can’t cross. It’s fun to judge players on the shiiiit we’ve seen from them this season as opposed to most of their careers
We are linked with Balogun. Is he good?
Yeah, But Bellerin has always had those issues. His pace used to get him out of trouble.
Really if you are going to use the full backs to provide width in a back 4, their ability to defend on counter attacks is going to be tested.
In my opinion its why Wenger was a fan converting wide midfield players at youth level to full backs.
Balogun looks good, yeah.
Can’t see him staying in the Prem if he leaves though. His path would be even less clear at Liverpool than at Arsenal, no?

Top potential. Think Klopp has got to him. I really hope he signs an extension for Arsenal.
Balogun is going to Germany. He wants to play.

Has potential to be one of the best strikers in Europe is he stays. Poor man’s Adebayor who can’t get in ahead of Nketiah if he leaves. I have never seen him play
Wonder with the younger players impressing against Chelsea Arteta maybe less reluctant to give balogun some game time. Hope we can convince him to sign, even if we loan him to get first team football. Sort of player we can’t let go for nothing, even if he turns out not to be quite good enough we could generate a decent fee for him

Banning from the main Live thread should be limited to one Matchday. It is bollox that a subjective person can manage that thread.

Yeah, especially when they ban you for an unknown reason.
I don't even know how long I'm banned for. A year is it? For giving GT a bit of stick? That should be met with a reward.
Bellerin has a few nice passes in his locker, but that's it really. AMN came in at RB, did a good job, and was immediately dropped again.
Ainsley has so many better qualities at RB over bellerin, it isnt even funny.
The only change I would make is Auba in for Martinelli, just because I don't want Martinelli to be overplayed so quickly.

Would be a massive lol if we sold AMN after deciding to keep him over Emi in the Summer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It doesn't look good. Arteta's track record shows he likes to go dumber with each big decision. Have said already if that moves happens, it's proof Arteta needs the boot. We just don't need a manager that feckin THICK!
