Agree with VC.
Wilf is obviously a talented player and i was genuinely looking forward to seeing him improve at a far better club. A club where being closer to the bottom than the top would be an incentive to work harder and his peers would kick him in the nuts as and when he needed it. Something that he's never had with us.
Maybe the summer will finally see him move, maybe it won't. I'm not that bothered anymore as yeah, he is by far the moodiest git that i've ever seen play the game!

I didn't realise it was a low as 4. What i would say is his alleged attitude would suggest he felt at that time he'd "made it"?
And the reason I asked if he'd missed his chance as he's now 29 which i know is not old, but it's getting past his "peak years" for the role/position he plays?

He should have had a chance at a bigger side. Hes been a proven premier league player for years now. I really like him. Easy with hindsight now but surely he wouldve fared better at arsenal than pepe has.

Zaha lacks ambition. Either that or he is being held hostage by Palace.

I think he’s said himself that he was “depressed” in Manchester, the club sorted a house for him but it was nowhere near his team mates, didn’t sort out a car for him (normal for clubs to give players cars?) and that he just didn’t feel comfortable in his surroundings.
He also wasn’t getting game time, and there was that mad rumour (which Evra casually referred to live on Sky a few months ago ) with Zaha and Moyes’ daughter.
