I can see a Derby forfeit if they lose any more lads?

Is that your prediction ?

Could be your most accurate yet ?

Last time I looked I wasn't far behind you.

Just on EMT - 5 U23s available and 14 U18s available.

Sort of levels it up.

We hold the record (jointly) for the biggest defeat by a non-league side in the FA cup. 6 1 by Boston Utd. We could break our own record tomorrow.

I think this game has just turned into an absolute farce. In my estimation there are - what 24 odd players unable to play. It's a shambles. If a club played a team of reserves as we're now being forced to do they're receive a fine. Yes, I understand that it's a great opportunity for those that do play but it's just a totally meaningless game now. As Steve Bruce was reported as saying yesterday - it totally devalues the competition.

It is indeed a farce. Just glad they are not playing Liverpool or City. At least there is a small glimpse of hope playing a non-league team who must be conscious that the table of who’s favourite has turned 😄

Why not just concede on the basis that our players are a probable risk of infection to others in the side and the Chorley players. Save us the cost of a coach to take us to Lancashire at least. We aren't going to win the cup, we wont make any money from a match with one of the big clubs. It is a game for a games sake.

Perhaps BT sport are giving the club free broadband for a year to broadcast it ?

But this is the 75th anniversary of our cup win. We should celebrate that by at least making the fourth round.

I have a life-sized papier mache model of Jack Stamps in the garden. Not coping with the weather too well though.

It's a bit foggy up in the NW this morning. Maybe it will be postponed?

I have a lot of dealings with the FA locally through my involvement with grassroots football. Normally, whilst slow, they make sensible decisions.
On this occasion, they have got it totally wrong and undermined their own competition.
However, I'm not fussed as we arent going to get to the final this year and no fans will be allowed anyway so I wouldn't be able to use the tickets for the final I get offered each year.
One day ... I'll take up that offer and grab my 6 tickets for Derby v whoever.
