I really hope Arteta succeed as manager. However, I think it is clear to see he won't be one who develop youngsters.
That is Eddie, Balogone, Nelson, AMN, Saliba and to some extend Willock with very limited playing time.
You have to think the only reason Saka is playing is because he was well established prior to his arrival

He seems reluctant to put too much on the youth too soon but seems to go too far the other way. Nelson is always injured, Willock is rubbish and Eddie had a lot of chances. Agree the others should get more time though and I'd be frustrated if I was them

Bit harsh this. The Eddie and Balogun situations are directly linked. Nelson has had injuries and not been good enough. Saliba himself said he wasn't ready. Willock has had more than enough minutes.

I agree with AMN, however.

The signing of Willian and Cedric were completely unnecessary. Didn't had much to the squad quality and mainly led to reducing playing time for our academy players.

Don't forget he is giving plenty of minutes to ESR, Saka and Martinelli. If you're good enough, you're old enough.

Plenty of time? Have ESR and Martinelli not play 2-3 games max?

Cedric signing is fine now Kola is gone, makes sense. Willian I convinced myself it might be an okay signing but he just doesn't seem to offer anything
