Would be interested to hear the logic behind including players like Veron and Pogba but not Keita.
Club bias?
As others have said, think there are some far much worse than that anyway.
Torres to Chelsea was a disaster.
Rodwell perhaps? Bebe surely on the list.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pogba(The hype around him) cost twice as much as Keita but he maybe should be included too. Not exactly lived up to his youtube clips at Redbull.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Much like Maguire, Pogba is over priced but no a flop imo.

Roque Santa Cruz
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He was good at Blackburn.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, I'd be tempted to leave out players that were brilliant for one PL club but poor for another. Santa Cruz is one. Sanchez is another who was one of the best players in the world at Arsenal. Just looks a bit ridiculous imo having them in a PL flop XI.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surely if a player is signed for a large amount and doesn’t come close to matching his form at previous club or expectations, then he could be classed as a flop.
Not everything is about you term.

Certainly logical but unlikely they’ll make the top 11 flops in the whole of the PL.
I don't understand why people are talking about players who are still playing in the PL. I wouldn't have Kepa in the OP.
You got the likes of Tiabi and Karius to choose from. Though Karius is out on loan, so can he be included? Another United keeper would be Ricardo. Remember him? Bravo, formerly at City, flopped. Quite a few choices there.
Lampard (flopped at City)
Rooney (flopped at Everton)
Rio Ferdinand (flopped at QPR)
Zaha (flopped at United)
Fowler (flopped at Blackburn)
Thierry Henry (flopped back at Arsenal)
Bale (flopped back at Spurs)
All well known PL flops at one team so should be included in the PL flops eleven in the same way the OP has done.
Diouf, I believe the only liverpool no.9 to never score in a season and was a good chunk of change for liverpool at the time

I agree that you can’t really label a player a flop when he’s still playing at a club but in some cases, when they’re blatantly not playing for that club again, I think you can make a call.

I included Kepa based on his huge price tag. Karius was awful, but didn’t cost anywhere near and had no real expectations. I actually think that Kepa will be the biggest GK flop ever, so I bent the rules slightly to include him 👍
