Hi Doha, a little late to the party but enjoyed your post. I agree that there are shoots of improvement in our game play.
We are definitely no longer set up to counter attack, indicating that the new Coach is installing his own brand of football,
With the prospective talent we have in the side it all just needs to click together. And I believe it will because I believe in Chris Hughton.
I think we have definitely turned the corner. When we were having a tough run of fixtures I said that we should be judged after the four relatively easier fixtures which followed defeat against Brentford. I suggested that six points from those four games would be a good haul considering where we were. Well we managed to get the six points and have won the two games following that. So all things considered I think we are in good shape (on the pitch).
As you say the defence looks to be sorted, but it is vital we hang on to Joe Worrall. Big question tomorrow is will Bong keep his place after a good display last week. I think McKenna will keep his place.
I'm not too bothered if we sign anybody in this window. We need a bit more pace and creativity for sure, but as confidence improves I think we will start to get a few more goals.
Three games before the next cup tie should bring us five points hopefully which I think would move us away from the relegation zone and into mid-table
