On the whole the adherence to the Covid protocols have worked (a few notable exceptions aside)
The rates of infections from players and staff are way below the national averages.
Unless that changes we should keep playing the games (I was of the same opinion last season too)
To paraphrase Neil Warnock - I need ‘summit’ to look forward to, even if my team gets beat it’s a real emotion and a distraction from the awful situation outside.
I need footy more than ever now.

remember we've not even anywhere near the deaths from the Xmas period and we'll only be seeing cases from new year starting to come in this week and next
30,000 patients now in hospital with it, 46,000 nurses/doctors off work with it
The Covid thing is always going to go back to the fact that we didn't close the borders. It's the single biggest mistake (in a long list of mistakes) that was made by the government.
The fact we're now talking about having to wait until 2022 for any sense of normality, just so folk could have their holidays in the autumn, is madness.
As for the fitba, personally I couldn't care less and I've barely cared for the whole season. Although I appreciate that for some the fitba might be the only thing they have to look forward to all week so there might be some value in keeping it going.
They’ve not confirmed yet but it’s apparently Julien and up to 10’players/staff are close contacts so they’ll likely be asked to self isolate, for 10 days from yesterday.
Expecting to know in an hour what’s happening.

The cases in elite sport are very low compared to society as a whole if protocols are followed

Im saying that i dont care if they award the league to Rangers, what else do you want me to say
It doesnt matter about testing or level of cases. Its about the NHS being stretched regardless of situation. There will be less incidents and cases if football is stopped. I can 100% guarantee that.
