Should have spittoons dotted about the sides of the pitch.Everytime you get a close up of a player they always seem to be gobbing up a green yocker.Even throughout this pandemic

What they should be doing is dropping fines and bans on players who break bubbles.

In my opinion, the political/moral perspective of football continuing during lockdown is going to be the reason for why it gets suspended (which it will do) rather than safety measures.

Agree with this in the OP although I think it will be a culmination of the safety measures as well as a lack of responsibility from the players.

You even have players, managers, and players sat on the bench spitting all over the place, which is hardly helps prevent the spread of disease.

Its a disgusting habit and so many players and managers do it, I don`t even think they realize how disgusting they look when they do it.

Surely the very fact the matches are being played is because the risk is so very low, to zero (having been tested etc).

Its not like its you or me in the supermarket, these are people who have been tested within an inch of their lives.

The recent outbreaks at PL clubs would dispute that.

The footy is still on because of money and the government is aware how important it is to have a distraction and a sense of normality amidst all this.

It probably would’ve been suspended by now if it was. It will continue unless government specifically instruct not too imo
