I don't think winning by a single goal after going behind is sustainable over the course of a season, but we've done it for the first half and I wouldn't have thought that was possible either
We desperately need our forwards to find some form, even just 1 or 2 of them would be a huge boost. Amazing we're in this position without them having done so already tbh.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What is good to see is that when we do concede a goal early on, it appears to have absolutely zero impact on the side whatsoever.
There’s no shouting at each other, no shaking of heads and wandering around muttering: the ball comes out of the net, we start again with heads up, and the confidence and determination appears completely unwavering.

I think an issue with this squad is that they haven't been in this position before and although we won a couple of trophies with Jose, most are not experienced with getting things over the line and winning trophies, or title battles.
Having said that, we have got a handful of players who's personalities are big enough to push the entire squad, in Bruno, Cavani, Matic and Pogba (who now give a sht). DDG also has winning experience but he doesn't seem to have the personality the others can feed off.
Also, Mata, while not playing will likely be having a big impact in the dressing room and training ground. No doubt why he was kept around.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Changed your mind on Ole yet?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oles fault for putting these players in a situation they're not used to, if we crumble because they aren't used to being top then that's on him!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He just sits there grinning in his Adidas coat, I could do that for 50k a week
Mike, yeah generally it goes the other way and the performances will get punished.

I wasn’t asking you, for good reason
Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer revealed after last night's win at Fulham that he could not find anywhere for his team to train ahead of the game.
United travelled to London on Tuesday and would normally have had a light session on the day of the game.
However, with coronavirus restrictions in place across the capital, no suitable venue was available, which Solskjaer thinks explained their slow start.
"Don’t blame the players if it takes a while to get started sometimes," he said.
"In the time in history we are living in, it is not easy.
"We were looking for a pitch to train and couldn’t find anywhere, so I would not blame the players for starting slowly."
-----------------------------------
Just read this, didn't notice it yesterday.
"Paul can do more or less everything asked of a midfielder, now he is putting it all together in the same performances," said the United boss.
"I would say he is the fittest he has been. Physically he is in very good shape and he is mentally very happy."
Also that on Pogba too.
Good to hear!

Read between the lines Michael, he’s saying Pogba hates United and wants out ASAP, so is playing well to secure a bid
It would be mad if pogba hit his best ever form only to leave in the summer. Usually that'd increase the fee but with his contract running down and covid, that may not be the case.
If he did sparkle and then jump ship I'd be interested to see if he goes from hero to zero in United fans eyes.
Certainly seems like he can't stay with united/agree a new deal AND stay with his current agent.

I’m not sure too many consider him a hero, or would do even if he continued his current form through the end of the season.

Most folk pick their heroes and villains and a match by match basis.
If Poggy helped us to a title, even Red Indian would have a small smile and say he was quite good.
Apparently SE85 hailed Cavani as his South American Hero yesterday.
