It has been a huge test for the batsmen to be fair. One which the majority have failed miserably on.

Obviously India are more equipped in dealing with spin than England. Also, England only have 1 spinner which is strange in itself.

Even if India chase this without losing a wicket, its not a true reflection.

India have every right to produce home advantage wickets but it shouldn't be spinning and bouncing on the first day

Think England are now completely mentally scarred by spin on this tour. If India get quick wickets again in the next test they will all be gone even more.

Root needs to bowl a double hattrick in the next over

Why shouldn't it? Because the wickets don't play like that in England?

If India come out and struggle which is quite likely then fair play It's a no test pitch... The come out and notleys runs off inside 45 minutes, then the standard of England batting needs to be looked at

did say after last match that if something like this happened then its a concern, whereas last test wasn't a bad performance, this test was.

It's a bit different to bat on when you only need 49 to win though, that they didn't lose a wicket doesn't mean too much.

Regardless a Test match being over in just 5 and a bit sessions is shocking.

Look forward to thrashing India on green tops in the summer

There heads had dropped. No team in the history of test cricket has defended a low total like this so it was over.

This was a disgrace of a pitch and terrible example for test cricket.

Bit of a blow for Channel 4.
