Reckon they'll just use the same strip for the next test?

I said it after the last game, when you see how badly we play spin then India are going to prepare pitches like this, why wouldn’t you when we’re absolutely clueless I them?!

Well, this will go down as a farce of a test. Some will try to pretend it's all ok but we all know the pitch was a disgrace.

And I think India know that too. Everytime they come here they are embarrassing. That’s why they’ve been ultra desperate to produce such a pitch knowing English spinners not on top form and England batting fragility vs playing spin

Prepare pitches?? What preperation could have gone into this pitch apart from whacking it with a pick axe?

England batters are just as useless on green top. Difference is they have have bowlers to do well.

Shortest Test match since WWII but sure the pitch had nothing to do with it

Though irrespective of what type of wicket, no one can question the class of Ravi Ashwin when he bents his arm on home soil

Honestly if we end up with a lead sub-100 I wouldn't be surprised if India come out for a t20 bash and knock it off in under 10 overs for no wickets.

Called it

I'm actually looking forward to the summer tests vs India for the sole reason that we'll hopefully get some decent competitive test matches.

This isn't a slagging off pitches comment but we're pretty poor against spin but India have got a good seam attack and some high quality batsmen. It should be a great series.

This series unfortunately has had 3 hammerings so far. It's pleasing that we won one of them but there's not been much ebb and flow. Even today, despite their collapse, India never looked like losing this match.

Hopefully the last test proves more competitive.

Genuinely don't care that we've lost, but so annoyed the game hasn't even lasted 2 days.

Might as well have just played a ODI.

Even worse is that Sandy will be on here moaning about test match cricket on here again. Or should I say Mr positive.

Hopefully this means the end to Bairstow
