Just as I said this morning, happy with the win whatever the score. Chorley did well but didn’t have the quality. We weren’t much better. Boly probably our best player. We looked better after the subs. Vitinha faded after an excellent first half, Moutinho needed resting, and can’t imagine we will see Cutrone again in old gold. Hoever and Ait Nouri both poor also
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you really are happy with that I am stunned.

He can't have watched it. There is no way on this earth that we 'looked better' after the subs. Arguably worse but that would be very very hard to tell.
I can't even get angry about it, it is comical really. Truly embarrassing effort all around.
My wife has just told me that my eyes are bleeding!
I started the evening cursing the TV because the IPTV system was having a brainfart. But now I think I got off lightly having only listened to the commentary and not being able to actually see the shambles
Honestly Gen you should be grateful, it was truly pathetic
Gem you were truly lucky
I can't remember being so annoyed having won a match
dire, you would think the teams were at most one division apart, spectacular goal though , well played Chorley
33-1 Wolves to go down.
I'd get on this if you want the blow softening. This is a worse Wolves side than Mick's shambolic bunch of cowards on the day he finally got sacked.
Nuno will walk.
Yep new striker in, guess he'll be available for Chelsea. Time to move on and put last night's shower behind us.
Don't think he'll be too concerned about getting regular game time, assuming he watched any of last nights omnishambles?

According to Wolves website, they are still waiting for a work permit and international clearance and is not expected to play in the Chelsea game.
Loan till the end of the season then an option to buy for €22m
Much needed signing
Probably good work again by Jorge. Spurs tried to get him on loan last season when Kane was injured but they couldn’t get the deal done

Right, I guess we write off January then and start afresh in feb. Let's hope it's a signing that can ignite the team and get them performing.
I think it's been fairly plain to see that Neto and Traore have had little confidence in Silva and have been using him as an outlet as a last resort. I hope they'll be much more positive with Jose in the side and be prepared to put balls in to dangerous areas rather than holding on to it for too long and either blasting it in to the car park or have it rebound off a defender back to them and out for a goal kick.
we were bloody awful, we were better in 86.
their bench showed that cowardly repulsive ignorance isnt limited to bolton in that part of the world.
may both clubs rot.
I think they are hoping to get a work permit for Jose early this week. Don’t see him starting at Chelsea but wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the bench. Certainly expect to see him in the starting line up against Palace next Saturday
Southampton ahead in the game to decide who will be Wolves next scalps on the road to Wembley
Perhaps Nuno could learn something from Ralph Hasenhuttle. When Arsenal go forwards they look to work the ball into the box where there are one or two players in amongst the defenders.
When Saints go forward they use the wide men and there are always 4 Southampton players in the box waiting for the crosses
And they never, ever take short corners
I think what you’ve described there gem was probably the plan with the 3412 formation we used last night. But key to it working were the wing backs getting forward wide, and the two strikers making life difficult for the defence. But I thought those 4 players were the ones that let us down most, all were poor

I think it would have been a different story had Neto. Adama and Raul started for sure. Hoever certainly didn't provide much attacking threat and Ait-Nouri wasn't much better.
The only player with any credit from last night would be Ruddy.
So Wolves will be at home to Southampton in the 5th round. Unusually that round will be played midweek around the 10th Feb

I thought Boly did well. Lots of headed clearances to show why we missed him while he was injured. Vitinha to me was the best player on the pitch first half but never got into the game after the break. Coady, Kilman and Dendoncker were all ‘ok’
Lots of headed clearances but yet they had several great chances from headers. Florists and truck drivers that is, against the seventh best team in the country.
