How can we sack Lampard when he’s made really positive changes yesterday and the next couple of games look really good for Frank to turn it around?
Massive knee jerk reaction by the board.
Yeah the ruthlessness is in contrast to how the other clubs operate.
Although it’s early you already get that taste of classic ruthless Chelsea. The way it’s already been reported that they’ve been ‘furious’ over the last few days/weeks and just woke up this morning cancelling the players training, releasing clear info to the press all at once. It’s also even reported the first time the players heard of the sacking was same time as us when the journalists got the press release.
Not even Lampard can escape the ruthlessness, bloke probably got the phone call on his way into training

This is all correct the only defence for it all is the fact that every manager that takes the job knows what’s gonna happen and with Lampard seeing it a lot there as a player he knows better than anyone
It's nothing new. It's a recurring theme that engulfs the club every 18-24 months.
There's always a honeymoon period and then things deteriorate not long after. Pretty damning that our longest-serving manager in the Abramovich era has been Mourinho (2004-2007), which was 3 years, 3 months.
In that time, we've had some great managers come through our door but they never stay long enough to build a dynasty. I have nothing against Tuchel, I wish him well if he's our next coach, but he doesn't excite me that much either.
Proactive move from the board... Was looking likely
