Who in the world can live up to Bruno just now and Pogs has decided to show some real passion for the shirt, he is a good tidy player but to live with this type of competition he has as I think your saying to become more arrogant and self assured
He picks the safe option too often. He was anonymous yesterday for large parts. You saw the different when Bruno came on.
Having said that I’d give him another go on Wednesday and rest Pogba.

Not just that, he’ll have to develop into a much better footballer than he is. He’s a good young player. But he’s just isn’t close to the level of talent that Bruno and Pogba are.
Exactly the same as Fred a few years back. When people were writing him off I said there is a player in there,
Same with Beekers. We are not going to see if he is any good until he gets a run of games under his belt.

Watch some of his passes under pressure back, not sure many of our other players make the pass let alone make it look as easy as he does.
He does need to be more decisive in the box though. Never easy for anyone when you get 60 minutes every 3 weeks though.
Looked class at Ajax, looks bang average at United.
Agreed. Would like to see him play Wednesday when he’ll see more of the ball.
Came with a huge reputation though and lots of punters saying he was the real deal, seems a lovely lad but like Bruno came in and said ok leave this to me this is my stage he hasn’t

Bruno is 3 years ahead in terms of development and also players like Bruno don’t come around that often.
Impossible to judge with his limited game time.

No they don’t and we are lucky to have him the guys winning mentality is running through the club now, quite happy to to give Beeks time, the noise is coming from outside OT about him to be fair
Not fair to compare him to Bruno, who is experienced elite midfielder in his absolute prime.
Although he does need to have more impact in games when he's on the pitch if he's to nail down a spot.
There are glimpses there. Completely different player to Bruno, but he has that rare ability to do in 1 touch what most players would do in 2 or 3.
Unfortunately for him his competition are the 2 most talented players in the squad. But for a lengthy lay off for one of them he isnt really going to get much of a chance.
I like having him in the squad, and you feel much more assured having him waiting in the wings over Lingard and Perreira. Can't help but feel for him a bit though.
Donny is all about his intelligence not his ability
Certainly dosent look any worse than fred did when he arrived
Needs time to adapt like a lot of foreign players do
I think once Pogba moves on in the Summer, we'll be glad that we have VDB on the books.
Remember, he's only 23 years old, moving into a team where two players are superior to him.
I don’t think his reputation was huge, to be honest. Certainly not like Bruno and Pogba came with. And rightly so, they were/are much better footballers.
He was brought in as a squad player and that’s what he’s been. He doesn’t suit the way we play either due to his limited skillset. I don’t know why people are that surprised by what we’ve seen, or haven’t seen, thus far.
He’ll be a slow burner. He’s got years ahead of him to get used to the team, the step up in quality and develop more of his game to better suit the team.

You can’t judge a player before giving a real chance. DVB hasn’t been given a chance at all.
He has all the right attributes to make a genuine contribution to a consistent league campaign.
He has been underused - which is bizarre when remembering how many games the headless chicken called Herrera got.
United, like any ambitious club, need midfielders as diverse and as talented as Fred, Pogba, DvdB, Matic, Fernandes and Mata.
'Mixing it up' makes the opposition coach have to think more about planning to stop them then it does about planning to threaten.
I fully expect him to be a more regular feature by next season. There are already less influential, less productive players getting regular starts.

OP sees everything with Ole’s eyes. If Ole benches DVB, then DVB isn’t good enough.
