Who's Abramovich? Has Tuchel been sacked already? It's easier to keep up with Madrid managers nowadays.

Would take any opinion from Brummie over the attention seeking cocksnot that you post on here daily.

It’s a difficult one. Roman is the reason Chelsea are relevant, but he is a nasty piece of work and there are many legitimate criticisms of the way he’s run the club. It’s very Faustian being a fan of Chelsea.

Sacking managers is a part of football, it's only really fans of English clubs that are so offended by it.

Zidane's job at Real is far from safe despite two league's and three CL's and barely anyone in Spain is batting an eyelid, Bayern sack trophy winning managers regularly and no one cares. For example compare the meh reactions to Bayern and Real sacking Ancelotti to the extreme outrage when Chelsea did it.

Why are English club fans so different? Is it because giving a manager time worked once with Ferguson and they're conditioned to believe that's the way forward? The modern day way to success is having a plan from the top, the managers are as disposable as the players.

and how wonderful and smart Rory Jennings is.
-------------------------------------------------
He never said that ... I don't think he even knew it was written by Rory, or who Rory is, before I pointed it out.

Via the Abramovich thing. Typical Rory take where he's speaking through his emotions that (a) will change very quickly, (b) are directing the frustration in the wrong place. It makes me want to ruffle his hair more than spit venom at him

Rory Jennings is a complete a hypocrite who abuses everyone disagrees with him and intentionally misrepresents their positions, he is also not that bright. His success reflects the vapidity of social media influencers and online personalities in football.

He also played a nonce on Eastenders!

Never knew that. I know he was a less memorable episode of Doctor Who!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Called Craig Dixon, tried to bed 13 year old Lucy Beale and eventually got nicked for trying to kill Patrick Trueman, nice guy.

He took a lot of heat for that Abramovich stance apparently, and watching this you can tell. For once he actually stated it's just his opinion, not pretending he was speaking on behalf of "real" Chelsea fans (whatever that is in his mind).

Yeah that's baseless & silly, hence why I don't take him seriously even when I agree with him. But is nice seeing him behave slightly less smug here... slightly

Surely some of his criticisms of Roman’s ownership are valid, though?

The point about Chelsea competing at the top three times in the decade are especially true.

I know you can’t control what other clubs do, but once Fergie retired it really should have just been Chelsea and City as one and two pretty much for the rest of the time.

That it wasn’t was more to do with mismanagement from your end than Liverpool’s brilliance.

Ah yeah forgot about 2011. I think most would have 09/10 as the end of the last decade, but then we are getting a bit more semantic.

That United and Liverpool have been crap doesn’t matter really.

I do think Chelsea have been mismanaged the last ten years, despite your success. It should have been better given the positions you got yourself into and your resources.

The failures to build upon title winning sides, and most notably the failure to build a top team around Hazard and De Bruyne, as a result of Roman’s decision making, has led to you being a club that has been more about top four battles than title challenges the last few years.

I don’t agree what he says about the Lampard stuff. But I do think there are valid points about Roman, and the reluctance among the Chelsea fan base to criticise him as the trophies have still come in.

Donny

The problem with this though, and it's a very Rory thing, shifting the blame onto Abramovich is an emotional, reactive response to his treatment of Lampard, when all those memories of Lampard he's basing this on were made possible largely by Abramovich.

If that argument was made by someone else it's easily entertainable, from him knowing where it's coming from I just laugh
