Yep you’ve been brilliant with sales, it’s your recruitment that’s been the problem. I don’t think the sackings themselves have been the issue, rather than the appointments in the first place.
I think there’s a reality in the multiverse where Mourinho doesn’t come back in 2014 and Chelsea’s attack is built around Hazard, De Bruyne and Lukaku, with good attacking managers and the academy being utilised better than it has been, even if it’s only as squad players, which allows funds to be better invested on starting eleven material.
Maybe mismanaged is the wrong word to use. Perhaps Chelsea didn’t quite fulfil their potential would be a better description.
I’m aware it’s funny coming from a United fan. But you’ve been a far better run club than we have for years, so I wouldn’t judge you by our lowly standards.
City are the standard, and one I don’t think would have been beyond you given some better decision making.
Devil, fair play.
I’m not familiar with him.

I wanna see the alternate reality where Roman managed to tempt Guardiola to choose us in 2016, only to find out he's still Man City's manager in 2021 cos he sacked him for finishing 3rd in season one
We were discussing discussing Jesus Gil and Maurizio Zamparini earlier, they’d be right up your street, Devill.
Gil sacked 27 managers in 11 years. Zamparini made 40 changes in 15 years, but with 32 different coaches as he kept rehiring ones he sacked - often in the same season.
Zamparini's hilarious. If I remember once told his players he'd eat their balls in his salad, or something to that effect, if they didn't win a specific game
He’s the best. Eight sackings in a season one time.
Are you as big a buffoon as you sound Wahl?
You’ve LIED in this article, trying to mislead people into thinking what I’ve said.
1. Show me where I’ve said that I think that author is ‘Wonderful and smart’? I don’t even know who he is!!
2. Show me where in the link, in the article I posted, it mentions anything about wanting to see the back of the best owner of a club any fan could wish for!
You obviously didn’t read the article because it was about the wisdom of appointing a fledgling manager with a view to trying to create a bright future for the club then ditching him at the first sign of adversity and questioning why you would make that appointment in the first place when it should have been obvious that such times like the last few weeks would have been inevitable at some point.
At no point does it advocate getting rid of Roman so how could I be in favour of that?
Everyone has the right to be intellectually challenged Wahl but you abuse that right!
Got you covered on #1 Brum if you read back
Cheers Devil - Muchos gracias!

Areas to criticise RA that make sense
- Falling out with Conte
- Trying to influence the CPO vote on moving stadiums
- Not dealing with racism issues regarding certain players and fans
- Selling DeBruyne
- Being a dodgy billionaire who got his money through dubious means
Things not criticise him for
- Sacking Lampard
- Sacking Mourinho in 2015
- Underperformance with trophies - yes we have fallen off slightly, but this is in my view a much more complicated issue than him letting go of managers
----------------------------------------------------------------------
the club are constantly dealing with racism issues and promoting equality. this never happened prior to roman, so i think you can take that off the list.
In regards to Rory, he's an absolute idiot at times with the stuff he says but I think these internet personality's have to be extreme in their views, if not they get no clicks.
Roman Abramovich is in the running for best owner of a football club. What he has done for the club is unreal.

He also was wrong to sack Carlo I should add. Really Carlo and Conte are the only mistakes with sackings RA has made.

also I was very happy with the carlo sacking. Was awful his second season. Poor football, no plan b and offered nothing in big games

He may be an idiot Nick, I have no idea, I've never even heard of him before.
What I do know is that his comments in the article I posted, ref the appointment and subsequent dismissal of Lampard, absolutely resonated with how I felt about it all - it made a mockery of the appointment in the first place!

Not quite sure what you're driving at TBH!
That he's reactionary & you're not
But what ever his words were, you either empathise with them or you don't!
Empathize with the message but not the reasons behind it in his case. When he's talking about 'idiots on social media' in that article I can't take that & by extension his words seriously cos that's what he's been for years. It's not as if he's a troll, if he was then w/e, he means to be taken seriously.
I remember you posting an article on here recently that mirrored the exact same message right down to having the dig at other fans. While I didn't agree with that aspect, having known you on here for ages I feel you've earned the right to say that cos you're not reactionary at all! In your case I can empathize with the message & the reasons behind it even if I don't 100% agree with you.

Are you talking about whatever's in this link or the link in my article?
In the article I linked it only talks about the futility of appointing Lampard in the first place, if we weren't going to give him some latitude in the event of a bad run - nothing more as I read it!!
The link in your article, but the link in this one is proof of why I can't take him seriously in general.
The central argument of sacking Lampard now making his appointment futile I agree with to a point, it's more complicated than that but I can follow it. But shifting the blame onto Abramovich once it's happened, retrospectively criticizing a working model he's been all for when he doesn't like the manager (e.g. Sarri), calling his 200mil+ backing of Frank a 'vanity project' and such, is a typical reactionary response he's prone too.
Anyway, regarding the original question I'm sensing the answer is no
