What a load of nonsense
The story behind him singing What is Truth to Richard Nixon and much of the Senate is just f@cking legendary
The best Beatles track was written by George Harrison “while my guitar gently weeps” the rest of their stuff was meh.
Dylan's "It's alright ma" is probably lyrically the strongest song iv'e come across. It resonates with me similarly to a modern band "She drew the gun" and their song "Poem"
I don't mind the Beatles stuff but it is twee for me.

I’m sure it was. No denying he’s a legend but I think his music is boring
Cash also stood up for the native american way of life, done some cracking songs pertaining to them.
Along with the rest of the highway man he was a legend.
The beatles being classed as a boy band. Would like to see boyzone, the Osmond, new kids on block etc come out with classics like hey jude, eleanor Rigby etc.
I preffered the stones but lennon and McCartney wrote some classic tunes.

Even the likes of tomorrow never knows, a day in the life - their more boundary pushing stuff? Not a fan of the early stuff too boy band/poppy, but what they did later after they met drugs was very progressive, and that’s generally what I think of when the Beatles are mentioned.
This still sounds fresh today for me: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pHNbHn3i9S4
