Crypto is all a bit too hype for me. There are many practical applications of blockchain technology which are the future, though. I recommend doing your research and finding a decent ETF covering the industry.

As of now. Expecting jumps coming in soon. I'm a bit screwed right now bagholding BB calls expiring this week. Out a large and a half on that front. That thing was about to pay for my vacation next month if I sold it last week smfh
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure what all of that means to be honest but hope it recovers enough to pay for your vacation, if only to scarborough
Oh and if you see that Redditors are pumping silver, that's fake news.
Most people there wouldn't have a clue on buying commodities. Distractions from someone in Wall Street

How complicated is it to buy and keep?
Reading about the security, hacks, physical wallet back ups etc puts me off.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My best advice, genuinely, is do not ask for advice on buying 37000 dollar bit coins on a footy forum populated by mostly eejits....

Essentially I made a $1.5k bet that BB was going to hit a certain price this week. If I cashed out on Wednesday, I would've netted $6k or something close to it. Now I'm out of my vacation money until my bonuses come in later this year lol

As someone who works on market making side of the business, here are few other options for you to consider

That ship has sailed. I bought hcmc on Friday and more than doubled my money.
Generally I invest in solid shares but I’ve been caught up in this a little. It’s hard to catch it before the moment has already passed.
A couple of very tasty penny stocks I think are likely to at least double this year are NMTR and EUA, if people are serious investors. Made a lot of money on those two/

Yes, in the Netherlands you dont. And in Ireland its minimal.
But still, my advice is still correct then
Bought GME at $89 and sold at $421 earlier on in the week
Hoped it would hit $1k but I sold as soon I heard bigger platforms were restricting people from buying and you could only sell
so the attack worked on you, i do think in the end people are going to bailout, hopefully the sting still hurts the shorters enough

By the way anybody can buy Bitcoin. It’s easy af to buy it. Sign up to an exchange or buy it on Revolut through Apple Pay. Doesn’t really take a genius, although Dutch moron has never been the brightest
Coinbase is probably the simpliest way to buy Bitcoin.
You could buy £20 worth if you don't want to risk mad amounts of money whilst you see how it works.

Yeah, best way to get into Crypto in general is to add what you can afford and treat it as a high risk savings account. I prefer stocks, but see the appeal of Bitcoin.
