To be fair, sideways step for Ralph as well.

Potter it is then.

I would actually be excited about Potter joining. It’s so simplistic to think the managers with the biggest pedigree are automatically the ones that have more chance of success
Would still love him to come in, don't really care about two performances when he gets a player sent off instantly

Whoever we get, whenever it happens/if it happens, will have to have some pulling power to replace Sanchez, Aurier, Doherty, Davies and bring in a midfielder at least. Good luck to them.
I think I’d rather Sherwood or AVB than Huffenhassl

If we get a 9 nil will Jose be flushed down the toilet?

I think losing 9-0 under Jose is a physical impossibility. As is winning 9-0
No side should be losing 9-0 in the top flight. The fact it’s happened to him twice in a year makes me think he has a severe tactical naivety
It was 9-0 but they still had more shots and possession than we usually do.

Wreck it Ralph completely agree with you and I said same on the other article. He’s done a good job, but nothing that great at Southampton. They went on a good run and suddenly he’s flavour of the month. No thanks, we are better and bigger than Hassenhutl
Great title. It was a freak result again, but having 10 men shouldn’t lead to a 9-0 loss - surely at half-time you go full-on Mourinho and shut up shop to keep the score down.
Would take Potter today if we could. Not just because he’s done brilliantly against us, but all season they’ve been playing like that. Pep says he’s the best English manager today, I’d agree with him from what I’ve seen.

Think Potter would help improve our home grown quota too. No Englishman involved at all last game which is sad. I used to have a go at Arsenal and Chelsea back in the day for this and don't want to see us become the same.
Come on guys, Potter and Hassenhutl ? Have we really slumped this low ? Would you see any of chelsea, United etc going for these guys ? We are a team trying to be CL regulars and have been for years. These guys are mid table / relegation fodder. They are not on our level ffs.

we had 3 welsh man to make up for it
Don, just because they are managing mid-table clubs it doesn't mean they couldn't do good jobs. We have gone for the most decorated manager in the last 20 years and it doesn't look like this is working out.
Not quite the same thing though Phen, as I myself am not English.
