He got injured, then he got fat, and has never really found his way back from those things.

For a player that relied so heavily on pace, movement, and agility, those two things have badly crippled his career.

I think footballers fat is different from plebs fat. He maybe put on a few pounds, but thats not being fat.

Had one bad injury I can recall (beginning of 17-18) but other than that don't think so.

Should've stayed at Chelsea. We enabled his lackadaisical attitude which is what his struggles at Real boil down too.

On a side note. Confirming the spelling of lackadaisical in google, the example of it in a sentence provided was talking about Spurs' defense

It’s the same with dodgy.

Dodgy:

of low quality.
"Spurs' dodgy defence had thrown away a 2-0 lead"

You used to be able to type 'gobshiite' (the proper spelling) into google maps and it would bring up Anfield.

He was injured a lot in the season that everyone said he disappeared for. He played a lot of games but was never really fit. I think that year and many kicks and bumps later it’s taken it’s toll. He was the most fouled player in the league every year he was in the league I think. Also looks like his metabolism is giving up on him!

lackadaisical
adjective: lackadaisical
lacking enthusiasm and determination; carelessly lazy.

He was always overrated asf

Plays in moments, goes missing too much and never a top goal scorer.

I think he's pining for Chelsea to be honest, not sure we would take him back now, but he's a good buy for some team like Fulham or Palace maybe !

Should've signed the new deal we gave him but that's life, don't know if you made the right decisions until you make them.

Think he could do better than Fulham or Palace though

You’re dumb. Probably didn’t rate zidane either. Or too young.

I fail to see, I can only assume it is due to lack of age or having not watched, the tale of people say he goes missing,

Guy was second in most chances created in 2010s behind David silva(who had two extra years). He actually created the most since his debut. He also had the most motm performances in the same decade.

If he dissapeared god knows what it says about the rest of the league

Devil, I was just thinking ahead a little saying Palace or Fulham, he still has a home here, his family love it here, and as well when his contract finishes with RM, these two teams are local to us,and he could quite conceivably trundle along for a few more seasons with either one !........
If you know what I mean !

If we're talking distant future London moves it's gotta be West Ham surely? A mid 30's, injury ravished Hazard... Gold & Sullivan will say yes please to that

I’m no RM fan, but I really feel for Hazard. Not only was he the most incredible player to watch, but he’s a genuinely nice guy too. I hope this season is just a one-off for him, and he gets back to full fitness once again. When he is fit he is one of the best players in the world, and we were lucky to be able to enjoy his football at Chelsea.
