...just to mention - we currently sit 3rd. I’ll come back later to correct myself
It might come down to who is fit. Having Fofana and Castagne out doesn’t really weaken us too much. Having N’didi and Vardy absent definitely does.
These are usually low scoring affairs won by the odd goal.

Unless it’s a 4-3.. which doesn’t end well for us!

No correction needed! 🎉
Tough game this but hopefully we have a wee bit of confidence now and go at them a little.
What is the talk with a clear the air meeting being had Monday just gone where it was agreed a back four was the way forward?
leicester, mainly due to much better recruitment, have left us behind the past 12 months. just hope we can improve but even if we do i can only see a leicester win/

Apparaently Nuno cllaed a meeting with all the players and allowed them all the air any concerns and make suggestions. It appears that it was an excellent idea because prior to the Arsenal game Nuno was a different person to the one we have seen for the previous few weeks. The players also seemed more confident and happier in themselves. One thing that was certainly a positive was that Moutinho was obviously told to stop being so negative and he went from dragging the attacks down to a MoM performance that was pure vintage Moutinho.
I think we will see the same setup with the same 11 starters for the Leicester game.

But in 2 season's time when all their old timers have creaky knees our young guns will be tearing the Premier League apart
I like Leicester, went to the 4-3 and the away game couple of seasons ago spent time beforehand in cracking real ale pub called Blue Boar , I think we have a good chance of a win
Think we have beaten them 4-3 twice in recent years
We beat them 4-3 in Jan 2019 and 4-1 in May 2007. We also beat them 4-1 in the FA cup in Jan 2003 and 5-0 in Apr 1990.
But we have lost loads of times since then
Off topic, but I see arsenal have failed in overturning Luiz’s red card. As much as I love it when it goes in our favour, a penalty plus a red card feels like a double punishment against the defending team. We’re this rule to be changed, what would you prefer: a red card and no penalty, or a penalty but no red card? Pretty sure the answer is different depending on whether you are the defending or the attacking team.
I think I’d rather have the penalty but no red card at the moment, given we aren’t scoring too many per game.
Here's an interesting one. We beat Leicester 5-0 thirty one years ago, on 10th April 1990. Since then we have played them 33 times. Wolves have won 10, lost 11 and 12 have been draws but only 5 of those games have been won by more than a one goal margin.
We beat Leicester 4-3 in 2019 and same score in 2003 in that famous game when we came back from 3-0 down

Under normal circumstances I would agree, penalty without the red but as he crocked our striker with his reckless challenge, I look at it as karma, so feck him

Must admit i thought this rule had changed to say that a penalty is a harsh enough punishment so no need for a red card too. But now read that’s only if the defender makes a genuine attempt to play the ball. Which of course Luiz didn’t.
I think when a goal changes the situation of a game to draw you level or take the lead I would rather have a pen. If we were already winning I might prefer the red card
Leave it as it is I say, too many fouls are made, they should be cut down. Some players try to get away with stuff. This "took one for the team" b""""""s dives me mad.
I wish they would bring in an orange card with 10 minutes off the pitch as in rugby.
Spurs centre forward gets injured. Next two games they lose and don’t score. Social media full of comments about their manager being under pressure. Such is life, as we know
Didn’t realise Braga’s Paulinho, who we have been linked with continually over the last year, did get a move in January. He signed for Sporting Lisbon for £14m as they look to consolidate their position ahead of Porto and Benfica at the top of the Portuguese league
Real Sociedad are confident Wolves will sign Jose permanently in the summer for the fee agreed in the loan agreement of £17.5m. They have already signed his replacement from Seville
If Wolves decide not to keep Jose at the end of his loan they will have to pay Sociedad a £3m loan fee
Would think signing Jose will be a wise move though you have to wonder what his thoughts are knowing Jimenez is going to return.
I guess it is now likely Jimenez won't be moving anywhere in the summer given he now has question marks so maybe a two pronged attack is in our future?
Not sure how that would work mind. 4-1-3-2 would be nice one day, don't need two defensive midfielders if we have more capable CBs.
