Bruno comparison

Is it just me, or does AWB seem to be adding a hint of a shadow of end product to his attacking game? He's still playing the same crosses where he seems to be over-stretched and hit and hope, but more of them seem to be ending up in dangerous places. I reckon he's the kind of player who, if he did develop quite an effective attacking string to his bow, would always look worse than his output. There are some players who look better than they are, and some players who look worse than they are. AWB isn't yet better than he looks, but if he gets better I think he'll still look worse.

Yeah I know what you mean. His end product has improved, he just looks so uncomfortable when doing it.

West Ham’s team of giants would break him in half.

I always wonder what was he like when he was a winger.

Worse than Dan James, I reckon.

I think we’ve all gotten the wrong end of the stick and he was actually a rugby league winger.

Yeah I’m not sure what it is, maybe Frank was more box to box, and tactically minded to his role, Bruno floats around and presses and really owns those spots between half way and the penalty box
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was Lampard more box to box? He was usually the furthest forward of 3 with 2 hardworking CMs behind him. I'd have said that they operate in the same areas.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Extremely box to box. Was often our fittest player. Also dependant on who we played. Especially in Europe lampard played a lot deeper. A lot of his assists were deep long balls to drogba. Lampard tactically was very good on the pitch. He would often start a move deep and finish it by his late runs into the box

Everyone has this wonky idea of Frank because his goals where blockbusters, but his assists are underrated but look a lot like Bruno's. In terms of technique and "Latin" style they look different but what they did, scored all forms of goals, roam everywhere on the pitch, run harder than everyone, assists, a fair amount of pens. They compare the most...

Just ignore the height, and size and the beards...

Rui Costa is a good one. I remember that guy when he was in AC Milan

Bruno is just a really versatile player. It's pretty amazing to see really. I thought he was a Portuguese knock off of one of those young English CAMs. Glad I'm wrong about that.

Silva could control the game in the final third like no one I’ve ever seen play in English football. Bruno seems to be more direct and wants to get into the box too when I’ve seen United. Hard to compare though when both played such different systems.

He doesn’t play like Rui Costa, he was much more of a dribbler than Bruno.

I spent a good minute trying to work out who the 'he' is in that sentence.
